People why try to be Scene by putting on large sunglasses, taking pictures at an angle, putting on excess amounts of eye makeup, using toe rings as lip rings, and using odd props and colorful clips. also by teasing hair a bit.

scene girl:
there a different types of scene...
but no matter what type of scene girl they will mostly be like this:
-wear converse, vans, or slip-on ballet flats.
-might have piercings.
-wears skinny jeans alot.
-listens to screamo, techno, rap or crunkcore (crunkcore- screamo/techno/rap mixed)
-has choppy layered hair
-loves some sort of cartoon character like hello kitty, gloomy bear, ect.
-has high confidence
-might be a stuck up bitch (beware some can. they think they are awesome)
-has a myspace
-wears little bows
-shops at hot topic, zumiez, jounerys, ect.
-likes bright colours
-says things like "mosh, awesomesauce, stellar, fo sho, shizzle, grizzle, bitchin, ect"
-gets online alot
-has extesions
-hair is blonde, bleach blonde, black or mutli coloured.

Qualities of scene hair:
1. Thick and voluptuous at the top, becoming gradually thinner as it approaches the bottom. Sometimes called "chunky".
2. Straight.
3. Sometimes slightly messy, but god forbid the wind gets to it.
4. Usually dyed professionally. Sometimes it is dyed by some strange material that the owner of the hair brags about.
Kelly: Hey! Nice scene hair! I like the colors!
Megan: Yeah, I cracked open my printer last night and used the ink to dye the top black. It worked well. Then I used a sharpie for the red streaks. =)

a guy or girl (generally girls) who worship such disneyalized artists as jonas brothers, demi lovato, selena gomez, and metro station, but have a scene flair (ie, bows, heavy makeup, skinny jeans of multiple colours, raccoon tails, generally happy people, myspace faces (peace signs))
these people are to be avoided because of their habit of annoying even real scene people. Theyre mainstream people who shouldnt be mainstream, dress like they should be moshing but instead cry for the jonas brothers. as you can see, the contrast is unbearable.
Girl 1: Oh man, that girl just put so many pictures up on face book, theyre so annoying, its same peace sign over and over again.
Girl 2: OMG i no. did you see her on much music? she was crying when she didnt win the jobros contest, it was so funny.
Girl 1: oh man, with that and the way she dresses, she is sooo disney scene.

scene kids are just people like everyone else. they like a lot of bands people havent heard of, and wear clothes a lot of people dont accept. i dont see the big deal if someone is head to toe in hollister merch or head to toe in a thrift store merch what the difference is isnt clear to me. if everyone looked the same i would vomit. people are different and dress different and wear different clothes because we have different PERSONALITIES. there are no 2 people with the same personalities so there are no 2 people that have the same exact tastes and if they do they are FAKE.
