From the online comic strip Future Retard. A baby sends messages from the future through the tellevision. He basically gives facts on the future which are irrelevant and annoying.

A genre of electronic music involving but not limited to:
1) filtered/modulated saw synths that can be detuned, with gliding pitch, with multiple voices to make it that crispy supersaw frequently used by Flume and Illenium. This can be used for chords, plucks, or leads.
2) Brassy sounds for synths or bass. Just make sure it's detuned and glidey.
3) Arpeggiated plucks for accompaniment.
4) Reese bass or some other detuned, low-passed bass. Often 808's.
5) Trap-influenced drums/percussion with toms dispersed with the kicks and snares. Impacts can help with the impact of the drop.
6) BPM 90-160. Usually between 90 and 130. The higher ranges are often associated with future bass sub-genres like Kawaii Future Bass or future trap.
7) White noise and heavy buildup with cutoffs opening up leading to drop.
9) Very focused on melody and chords.
10) Can have vocalists but not necessary. Can even have rappers.
Me: Bruh, you shoulda been at that concert. The crowd banged to that future bass Flume drop.

Funk is latin for FUMIGARE which means to smoke which later evolved into meaning something smelly and smoky... kinda like DANK ASS KUSH!!!*AIR HORN SIRENS*
Funk is also a term used by African American JAZZ musicians in the 60s for a genre of music in which musicians would GET DOWN and boogy! This of course happens when you let the spirit of JAZZ inside your booty - it can be fun when its consensional. Funk music was mainly popular in the 70s along with DISCO and afros and bell bottom pants with the boots with the fur the whole club was staring at her this music made people hit the floor next thing ya know shawty got low then in the 80s the drum machine and synthesizer changed FUNK forever
Lets also not forget Disco Demolition Night in 79 where 50000 people blew up discofunk records in the name of ROCK MUSIC Ya know just a bunch of white people blowing up AfricanLatinGay roots music rituallistically infront of the eyes of millions on television - Im sure that didn't have any long lasting repurcussions of any kind
Afterwards funk kinda died for 30 years because most record labels didn't wanna pay black bands anymore cuz with the rising popularity of rap music it was easier to pay one rapper than a whole band - ya know systematic racial economics. A genre of music which uses samples from japanese or american songs from the past which can be reversed, slowed down, sped up, pitched or left alone. Unlike the similar genre vaporwave, future funk has a more upbeat fast paced 1980s disco vibe by the way the song was made
Tl;dr Future Funk is a Music genre that uses sample of past songs from japan or america and gives them a disco vibe if they dont already have it
