Shyla Goodbye

Severe overreaction to a hangover resulting in the abandoning of a planned itinerary.

We went way too hard last night, we’re going to have to skip the rest of the trip and Shyla Goodbye

Irish goodbye

1) getting so drunk at a party that one wanders off into the woods to wake up wondering "where's my underwear" and "this wolf lends new meaning to 'coyote ugly'" circa late 19th/early 20th centuries, usually derogatory reference to Irish ancestry and careless intoxication;

2) to do a thing without permission (especially to leave: as to leave a post, charge, elected/appointed office, husband/wife, or social position)
3) other versions:

3 a) the "French leave" circa 18th century English (citation: Merriam Webster: 1768-71) and references a party-goer exiting without properly taking "leave" of the host, often when wine has compromised coherency or motor function, or when disgraced by social or political position, behavior, or opinion;

3 b) filer à l'anglaise (FR) ("to leave English style")

3 c) άδεια από τη σημαία (Greek) ("leave on lowering of the flag (without discharge)") essentially to abandon one's post at nightfall
3 d) despedida a la francesa (Sp) ("goodbye in the French way", "French farewell")
3 e) most European languages reference "in the English way" with dates of common usage suggesting association with derogatory reflection on English civil wars, Welsh conflicts, Irish independence, and even a resurgence of usage with Brexit. Spanish and English reference French with derogatory connotation. English adds Irish, Scotch, Welsh, and Boer.

At the Superb Owl (superbowl mis-spelled) Party last night, John took an Irish Goodbye. We found him in the park. Tomorrow he starts rabies treatment.

Buddhist Goodbye

When you tap the top of a persons head with your penis and say the word, "Dong.." after ending a friends with benefits relationship.

James' Mom was laying there wanting more of Drew's throbbing cock, but Drew was late for work, so he walked over and gave James' Mom a Buddhist Goodbye and he vanished never to be seen or heard from again.

Goodbye Marathon

1. At the end of a phone conversation, both parties awkwardly say far too many goodbyes.

2. When working in customer service and speaking with someone on the phone and you try to say as many goodbyes as possible to entertain yourself and mess with them.

At the end of the conversation, we had a huge goodbye marathon:

You: "Okay bye"

Them: "later"

You: "Ciao"

Them: "Take care"

You: "Have a good day"

Them: "Until next time"

You: (especially fun if you can pull this off when working in customer service) "lovvveee yooouuuuu"

Premature Goodbye

This occurs when two mere aquaintances leave a location, and one individual says "goodbye" entirely too early. In this situation, the relationship is not yet close enough to openly acknowledge the incredibly awkward position they have now been forced into while walking to their immediate destination. This usually occurs while walking to vehicles, or separate apartments/rooms.

Josh: Goodbye, Colton!

Colton: See ya later, Josh!

(after an excruciating 30 second silent side-by-side walk to the parking lot, both Josh and Colton reach their vehicles and part ways.)

Colton: (says to self) Wow, that was a Premature Goodbye if I've ever seen one.

kiss it goodbye

kiss it goodbye - verb: to take the last toke you are going to get on a joint or blunt before passing it to someone else or extinguishing it. Sometimes this can occur without one's foreknowledge.

This joint is pretty small, do you want to kiss it goodbye before I put it out?

There were so many people smoking on the blunt, I kissed it goodbye on my second hit!

We smoked half of a joint at the concert then kissed it goodbye - we passed it to some guys behind us and it never came back.

goodbye forever

A non-avoidant way to let somebody know that you don't ever want to see them again.

"See ya around!"

"Yeah, right, Goodbye Forever."
