Ok, I'll admit, some places in Greenwich can be fucked up. And I live in one of those neigorhoods where the kids there get everything they want handed to them. Those people who think Greenwich are full of preppy rich kids clearly haven't been to the more modest neighborhoods (i.e North Mianus, Byram, Glennville) where the families and kids are hard working people and really nice. Im just saying, dont hate becasue not everyone is filthy rich in this town.
Greenwich, CT:
Back-counrty: SOME filthy rich kids
Byram, Glennville, North Mianus, Riverside, OG:HARDLY ANY rich kids

A small village located in Huron County. Like Norwalk, Ohio, Greenwich is usually referenced from Cedar Point, which is approximately 45 minutes away.
There is only one high school and one joint elementary/jr. high school in the limits. Some of the biggest events that take place at the high school are usually the Friday night varsity football and basketball games and the musical plays that are put on from the high school choir.
One notorious business in Greenwich is the car wash - not for its all-sudsy-suds fun but for the relatively cheap priced Monsters in the vending machines that can be easily accessed any time of the day, thus making it an ideal spot to hit up for late night gaming or cramming of homework.
There is a park with a small reservoir. Located in the premises of the park is a basketball court, which one year was transformed into a skating rink...*facepalm*
There's literally not that much to do there. To get any form of entertainment, you would have to drive to one of the neighboring towns, unless you get an adrenaline rush from shopping at the oh-so-exciting local Dollar General store.
Person #1 -"Hey! Where are you from?"
Person #2 - "Austin, Texas. What about you?"
Person #1 - "Greenwich, Ohio."
Person #2 - "Oh...I heard that place was a sh*t hole from the Urban Dictionary example."

Town with lots of rich white people. Mainly upper-middle class. The people who are lower-middle class or lower class mostly despise the upper-middle class people who make the town look snobby. Housing prices have gone up dramtically in the past five years bringing in a large number of wealthy people, who bring their shitty kids with them.

Greenwich Academy is an all girls prep school in Greenwich, CT. Everyone thinks all of the girls here are rich bitches who will never work or lift a finger in their life once they graduate. But that is sooooo false! This is my school, and I love it. Everyone is normal, gets good grades, (i dont know more than 5 people who get below c's), and are great people. Theyre all hard working, and honestly we all have dreams for the future. It also has a lot of diversity, and a lot of scholarship girls, so no, we're not all rich spoiled brats. We're normal people just like everyone else. I cannot believe you guys would judge someone on their school. God, you guys are ignorant.
"What school do you go to?"
"Greenwich Academy."
"Really? Because you dont look like a dumb rich bitch slut at all!"
"Thats because we aren't!"
"Oh, well sorry that everyone is so stereotypical about you guys!"

Geographically the 16 square miles of East Greenwich is located in the center of the state. It is the eighth oldest town in the state and was home to many early American Patriots. The town was established in the 1600's. The land upon which East Greenwich sits was originally owned by the Pequot Indians and was acquired by King Charles II in 1644. The General Assembly incorporated the Town in 1677.
The Town is bounded on the East by Narragansett Bay and four hills roll up from the coast to the West Greenwich town line. The downtown area of East Greenwich was initially settled to support the surrounding farming area. As the town grew, so did the commercial center. The protected cove brought trade ships from the far corners of the world and gave safe harbor to local fishermen.
As East Greenwich grew as a trade center so did the need for goods and services, both for the townsfolk and those passing through. Industry flourished with the manufacture of textiles, brushes, machinery and and shipbuilding. This has left behind a legacy of fine historic buildings for people of the 20th century to enjoy. The town of East Greenwich is proud of its' heritage and its' National Historic District.

A wealthy town in Rhode Island. There is a magnificent beach, waterfront views, and the best restaurants in Rhode Island. You can't buy a house for less than $700,000 and everyone drives a new car. It is the Laguna Beach of the East Coast, and many rich children and parents live here in houses the size of average mansions. It is the richest town in Rhode Island, and the average family cannot afford to live here.

Drew: Dad I need some money
Dad: Ooh here you go, I cut it down to $1,000 since your only going to the Warwick Mall
Drew: No problem! I'll just ask for some more later since I live in East Greenwich and get whatever I want.
Dad: Yes, I'll be down at Table 28 by the waterfront beach watching the sun set

Greenwich Avenue is THE place to shop in Greenwich, where everything-- and I do mean EVERYTHING-- is $20.00 up to at least a Mill. It's one of the only places on earth where you have a Starbucks, a Wishlist, a Saks, and at least three jewelers all within three blocks of each other.
Greenwich Avenue also has strong seperation between the parties. The preps hang in the middle of "the Ave", near Starbucks and Wishlist. The ghetto kids hang near the Railroad Ave movie theater, where there are two pizza places within walking distance. The outcast/ normal kids hang in the park in the center of "the Ave".
So the next time you are looking to spend thousands of dollars in one day, whether it be on food, clothing, or jewelry, come visit Greenwich, and hang on "the Ave".
Lauren- Hey Tay, wanna go to Greenwich Avenue? We can visit Tiffany and buy some new platinum bracelets together!
Taylor- Yeah sure... But wait! My guy already bought me a necklace with diamonds and sapphires from Steven B. Fox! Wanna go to Wishlist and spend our $200 there?
Lauren- Sure! Then we can go hang at Starbucks with Nina and Kaleigh!
