(Insult/Derogative; Increasingly ironic use)
A person whose sensibilities line up with social norms. The opposite of an "Edgelord." Originated on internet forums to refer to people who prefer established, older memes (Bad Luck Brian, Confession Bear, etc), but quickly became shorthand for anyone with any mainstream taste.
Ironic use is growing quickly, to parody people who say "Normie" sincerely. Similar to "Wake up, sheeple."
1 (Sincere): "Bill doesn't even watch Rick & Morty or Regular Show. He's such a Normie."
2 (Ironic): "Normies ruin everything! Wake up, sheeple! "

The go-to insult for anyone who uses 4chan. If they like a meme but aren't a public nuisance, they're a normie. If they make a joke, they're a normie.
Normie started off as an insult with meaning, as in somebody who doesn't think for themselves, and just becomes another sheep. Now, however, the term has been used so much you can find an excuse to call anyone a normie.
Ordinary person on the internet: Hi. How are you?
Edgy 14 year-old: Fuck you, you fucking normie REEEEEE

A person who hasnt devoloped a personality of their own or stole one from their parents and their parents frequently watch mainstream TV is a normie from the mainstream personality
They think they're different when actually are all the same
They will make beyond corny jokes
They act excessively 'fun'
They have a hard on for getting the last word or atleast trying to
Their egos are very fragile so calling them a faggot is a threat
They want to be known as 'powerful' people when theyre really just pussys
They say nigger to imply that they have autism
They use emojis to tell people that they are autistic
They will often be extremely ironic or self aware in more than half 2 minute conversations
They genuinlly are annoying and lovers of pleasure
Their relationship last short due to it being based on hormone love rather than "I'd actually die for you" type love
They look at themselves and compare themselves to what people think of normies and 'change' by intentionally doing unpredictable shit that really is predictable
They think doing new shit that sheep do is 'cool' or will make them cool / relevant
They try their best not to be defined "Autism has no definition either"
They like people that appeal to their ego only
Their friends are fake or share the same persona
Disney channel is by far the best example (even 2 minutes) normie

A normie is literally just that lonely kid at school who follows the memes that are trending but when the memes die out they will still carry on.
