The word originates from Australian comedian Chris Lilley’s satire “Ja’mie Private School Girl”.

Word invented by Ja'mie King, the character portrayed by Austrailan comedian Chris Lilley on his show Summer Heights High. Basically meaning "hot", but used more like to say someone/thing is a level above hot.

Student B: "Yes! I totally wanna have sex with her!"
(Adjective) Chill-hype. Can be used to describe someone or thing who you dig.
However, it can also be used to describe someone who is low-key horny-hype.
