A term orginating in Atlanta that, in the beginning, referred to a short person or child, but the span of the word has grown to include any and all people, especially a girl that is attractive; it is mostly used as a term of endearment to others or just a way of addressing someone, like 'Wassup Man,' Instead of "Man", shawty is used.
NOTE: Can be shortened to "shawt" or "shawtdawg".

A hot female or your girlfriend. This term origniated in Atlanta but due to rap music's popularity it has spread to different parts of the U.S generally used in the south tho.

"Shawty shawty" is a reference to ones mother, when she starts wildin over something you did.

Shawty originated from Atlanta. It's the south's version of the word Shorty. It is used as a greeting, farewell, or in the place of peoples names or pronouns(he,she,his,her).
