An extreme sport performed by extreme people. Takes alot of practice, commitment and quite often temper (especially when your skatepark is filled with children and bikers)
And why do people think skaters are bad people? Is it cause of the sport we love? The clothes we wear? The things we say?
Do they say the same about bmxers? No, and the only difference between us and them is they rest their genitals on a clumsy piece of bent metal with two wheels! Oh yea, and they're annoying cocky assholes who take up too much space in skateparks.
I probably wouldn't have just said that had I not seen what they say about us here.
The point is, Skateboarding is an awesome life long adventure with so many rewards along the way, no matter what rate you progress at.

Best sport ever. not really a sport. Fucked up because of companys like ATTICUS, World Industries. Ruined in the advertising world. If you really skate though you can just ignore it. Companys like Natural Koncept, Zoo York, And plenty of others are keeping it real. Whoever said it was ruined by the advertising completely is retarded, they just dont know the real shit.
Skateboarding is not all about lips down 15 stairs, keep up the flowing lines.

Some one who has 100% more skill than a rollerblader, 100% more determination, 100% more accuracy, 100% more fitness, and just all out is 100% better than a rollerblader.A standards are 100% higher in skateboarding than rollerblading and its 100% harder than rollerblading which makes it 100% more challenging than rollerblading meaning that the sport will go 100% further than rollerblading.
