Congressman A: “If you don’t agree to cut medicare spending by $300 Billion a year, we’re not going to raise taxes on the rich by one penny.”
Congresswoman B: “Your just making another cliff bluff. Our side will just let the tax cuts expire on everyone.”

When you're in a restaurant and you're asked the taste the wine, not knowing really what you are tasting for, so you sniff the wine before you drink it, drink and nod in acceptance... whilst you find the whole formality unnecessary and pretentious
Waitor comes over and shows the bottle label to diner.

The "poplar bluff pose" is when you're taking a picture, usually of you and one more person, one hand is placed on the outer hip, while the other is around the person next to you. While doing this, you lean back as far as you can thinking it looks cute, when in reality, it looks like your ass is about to fall the fuck over.
