The process of destroying a Facebook message thread or a message board thread by posting wildly inappropriate images and videos, preferably of deformed and/or mutilated genitalia, to scare outsiders away.

Describing a state where a person's brain can't process information quickly. This is not to say that they are outright stupid, just slower than average. Origin comes from field of computing where threads represent units of processing in a system capable of concurrent processing.
How single-threaded was Brian in that meeting today? He was not keeping up at all.

Once just generally meaning confused thoughts but now used to mean when two or more people are talking in an internet chatroom and get two different subjects confused together.
