"Lake No Negro" is a derisive nickname given to the city of Lake Oswego, Oregon by some Portland Metro residents. It refers to a suburb of Portland, Oregon, which (by assumption) has no black people. Not wholly true, but almost.

Also known as "middle of nowhere, PA." No one knows where Lake Ariel is and it is a half hour drive just to get anywhere.

Hot rodder slang from the 60's, refers to a set of side pipes fitted to the exhaust of a car. Lake pipes were a very popular aftermarket accessory for alot of early American cars.
