Facebook Sense of Entitlement Delusion

A user of Facebook who becomes irrationally irritated when certain details of one of their Facebook Friend's accounts is not visible to them. Often a bizarre, almost arrogant sense of self-entitlement leads from at first a general feeling of being perturbed, to an outright delusional belief in the their right to have access to whatever information they want. This is often an affliction of Facebook users who have not yet come to terms with the fact that privacy settings are in fact a personal prerogative, not an obligation. It is also usually coupled with the arrogant belief that everyone should use Facebook the way they do, usually for the self-promoting purposes they are comfortable with, as though different peoples' preferences and reasons for using social networking are irrelevant. The delusion is itself not often a problem, but if the delusion persists, it can manifest in aggressive behaviour, harassment, and unexpected general rudeness.

Katie got so mad at me, and sent me a really rude blunt message when she found out she couldn't write on my stupid Facebook wall! I hardly know her ... who does she think she is? I think she has Facebook Sense of Entitlement Delusion or something.

San Francisco Entitlement Blindness

The propensity of some longtime residents to lose perspective about how good they have it compared to most of the world (and other, less privileged SF residents) and start complaining about trivial shit. SFEB often sets in during the fifth year of living in San Francisco and becomes incurable by the tenth year.

"God damn it! I just missed the N Judah. Now I have to wait four minutes for the next one! MUNI IS THE WORST PUBLIC TRANSIT SYSTEM EVER!!! AAAAARGH!!!"
"Sounds like somebody has a case of San Francisco Entitlement Blindness!"

you're entitled to your opinion

Shorthand for "I think you're a stupid fucking bottom feeding waste of oxygen for saying this. Seriously, how do you get yourself dressed in the morning without hurting yourself? People like you should be aborted to save the gene pool. You make me sick and I hope you and your children die from horrific torture and rape."

Person A: You know, I don't agree with what Trump's doing, but he has said some good things about getting China involved with North Korea.
Person B: Well, you're entitled to your opinion.

false entitlement fallacy

(noun) The fallacy associated with the belief that being nice to someone entitles you to date them or sleep with them. Also the main reason that nice guys finish last

Guy: Hey, do you want to go out for dinner with me?
Girl: You are a really nice friend, but unfortunately, I am only interested in being friends.
Guy: After everything I've done for you? I feel that you owe me something.
Girl: Stop with the false entitlement fallacy.

I am Legacy; therefore, entitled.

A phrase used by a Legacy player of Final Fantasy XIV (14). When a player utters this phrase, it means that he/she:

1) Is a user with a service account that had paid for at least 90 cumulative days of subscriptions between January 6, 2012 and November 1, 2012. They hold special privileges such as a discounted subscription price post-launch of version 2.0, exclusive in-game Chocobo mount, and their name is to be displayed in the credits for version 2.0.

2) Feels that because of their participation in the infancy stage (1.0) of Final Fantasy XIV, their voice deserves to be heard over any other potential players when communicating via Official FFXIV Forums.

3) Feels that because of their participation in the infancy stage (1.0) of Final Fantasy XIV, their every gaming related want and need must be indulged for the sake of the future enjoyment of all true Final Fantasy XIV fans and players.

4) Has a deep, resonating sense of entitlement that is fully justifiable because they are a Final Fantasy XIV "Legacy" member. Some of the Legacy community feel an even stronger sense of entitlement if they have played the game and/or have had an active account since the start of the game in 2010. The ultimate entitlement is felt by members of the community that participated in the alpha/beta phase of 1.0, played the game since 1.0 launch, and was there to witness the end of 1.0.

Example #1:
FFXIV Player 1: The grass isn't realistic enough in 2.0
FFXIV Player 2: It's fine. What are you expecting?
FFXIV Player 1: Perfection.
FFXIV Player 2: Nothing is can be "perfect" man..
FFXIV Player 1: But I am Legacy; therefore, entitled.

Example #2 (very realistic example from FFXIV forums):
Hi...Rokien here. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. I know I am (hanging out with the GF). Today, I'd like to talk about immersion. ARR needs more of it. Because I am Legacy; therefore, entitled.
