A well-known phenomenon among Esctasy users. If you spend your weekend rolling, chances are your serotonin will bottom out on Tuesday, leaving you with a depression that could be anywhere from mild to severe. The day immediately before welfare day when your bank acccount is bone dry and your cupboards are bare. Essentially the worst day of the month. In the Canadian province of British Columbia welfare day normally falls on the last Wednesday day of the month hence the term "welfare Wednesday".
