Ship is the term meaning you can see two characters of a fandom as a couple. They are not meant to be taken seriously, yet some people think they are. It's all a matter of opinion, and sometimes can start shipping wars.
Usually ships are not canon. Once they become canon, they are no longer considered a "ship."

Ship is basically a shorter word for 'Friendship' , you can use it like it sailed ( basically means it was successful or went further than a friend 😏 )

You don't ship people who are already in a relationship together, that's just called being happy for someone.

To ship means that you rate a couple that you think should be together but for whatever reason aren't at the current time you decide to ship them!
When you order something online it's because you like it so if you like two people that should be together you ship them just like you would have an online order shipped to you!
