NOTE: While "the old man" refers to your father, "the old lady" refers to your wife or girlfriend, not your mother. Calling your mother "the old lady" is considered disrespectful.
Darth Vader: "Luke, I am the old man."
Luke: "I know you're old. Please stop distracting me while I'm trying to kill you."
Darth Vader: "I didn't say I am AN old man, I said I'm THE old man. As in yours."
Luke: "Oh shit dude, for reals? You're my dad? That's a bummer, considering that you're like the most evil person ever and I've dedicated my life to trying to kill you."
Darth Vader: "I know this must be a tough time for you son. There's a family reunion next week though, and I'd be delighted if you would come with me and meet your Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Susan."
Luke: "Gee...um...dad. I don't know, I'll have to think about it."
Darth Vader: "Ok, I understand. In the meantime, quit trying to bone Princess Leia. She's your sister."
Luke: "DAMN! Glad I used a rubber!"

an old mean lady who hates everyone but her cat. She usually doesn't have a husband, which is a good thing because if she did she would probably eat him or something. A good example of an old hag is your science teacher that you really hate.
Ms. Reese is a great example of an old hag, since she hates children, yet continues to teach at her crappy New Jersey school. She's like 90,000 years old and has krusty the clown hair. She enjoys making people cry. she is evil!!!

Families that have been affluent for several decades (in America) or several centuries (in Europe).
Old money families in the U.S. are often WASPs. They have a very distinctive style that includes brands such as Lilly Pulitzer and Eliza B. Their children go to generally East Coast prep schools such as St. Pauls, Exeter, Choate, Andover and so forth. They summer in places like Bar Harbor, Nantucket, South Hampton, the Vineyard, etc.
In Europe, old money is synonymous with aristocracy. Dukes, counts, marquis etc. and their relatives. In France, Spain, and Italy they are typically Catholic and own hunting estates, and summer and ski in the same places. Their children go to Catholic schools, which can be in some cases single-sex.
P.S: Another person mentioned Paris Hilton as old money. This is not so as Paris' grandfather was the one to become rich, which means they are still very much new money. In fact, her attitude and attire probably epitomize new money.
As I walked down the street in the 16 arrondissement of Paris, I saw this group of sixteen year olds who were dressed in a very elegant and subdued way and looked like they had just gone hunting. They were decidedly old money.
The traditional American preppy style is much flashier than the old money European style, as all Americans are new money compared to European nobility.
