Virtue Profiting

The act of enriching ones business or self by manipulating shoppers though virtue signaling. Currently being employed by many major food companies, and liberal politicians who then funnel money to their friend's and/or family's businesses.

1). What did BLM spend all of their virtue profits on last summer? Where did all that money go? 2). Ilhan Omar's husband virtue profited from both of her campaigns. 3). Look at all the food and clothing companies virtue profiting by claiming to understand the struggles of minorities.

virtue signaling

Something conservatives accuse liberals of doing any time they show any virtue at all.

This person told me I should be nice to gay people, I'm so sick of this virtue signaling!

Stolen Virtue

Borrowing from Stolen Valour, Stolen Virtue is the behaviour of falsely celebrating yourself as a hero of the culture wars. It's defined by people who seek to attach themselves morally to social change in exchange for virtue medals. Changes that they either previously resisted, or had nothing to do with implementing.

How's that hypocrite Senator from South Australia, eh? She's a lesbian, *and* she voted against same sex marriage when in government, but now she struts around at the Mardi Gras like it was all her bloody idea. That's textbook Stolen Virtue

Virtue Tagging

Obnoxious socially conscious graffiti you find in college towns and other similar places created by people who wish to be thought of as caring about the issues without putting in any effort to help.

Wow, end all war, there's some useful virtue tagging.

virtue exhabitionist

When a person bring up a subject that isn't affecting them in any way what so ever, in public, to show that he/she/it is on the side of good and therefor a good person. such as animal rights being violated, or anti-pedophilia, or anti-vandalism.
veryone probabely have the same idea already but you need to get the comfirmation that you are indeed "good" for having them, thus bring the subject up or express your opinion on the matter.

John: I read in the local paper that they busted a pedophile ring last weekend.
Mary: So close to us? That is scary!
Susan: I think pedophilia is horrible.

John: What the fuck Susan? Really? Is it? Good god, you are such a virtue exhabitionist.

Virtue brag

Bragging that one voluntarily exercises self restraint in the face of temptation, or takes less than one can out of moral purity or other lofty sensibilities

Tom is virtue bragging about how he paid more for his new yacht because it has more efficient fuel use and doesn't pollute the environment as much.
