That Boomer cliché is some hilarious WAVE.
I need some more WAVE since this generation ruined AAVE.
The manner in which an innocent bystander intercepts a "wave" or a greeting intended for someone immediately adjacent to them by accident and creates an awkward situation.
"Did you see that poor kid in front of Troy get the old collateral wave from Brian in the dining hall?"

The wave of tea, usually herbal, caused by the strung tea bag dropping from the top side of the mug to the lower side during tilting. The resulting tidal wave of tea is hot and can both surprise and burn the victim, although the phenomenon usually occurs towards the end of the drink when temperatures are cooler but tilt angles are higher.
