Scene Girl

1) HAIR-Usually has BIG, poofy, teased hair (or spiked in the back if it's short). Their hair is most often dyes black or blonde with a few random streaks or coontails in it, with emo bangs swooshed over one eye or straight, blunt bangs that go over the eyebrows. Accessories include little bows, barrettes, headbands, ect.

2)CLOTHING-ALWAYS WEARS SKINNY JEANS: no other types of jeans are scene, super skinny jeans are a staple in the scene kid world. Scene girls usually have dark-washed jeans with either a jacket or band t-shirt on, with many layers of lacy tank-tops underneath. They like to wear pearls and wear lots of little kid beaded bracelets. The most scene shoes are vans, flats, skate shoes, or converse.

3) MAKE-UP: The scene make-up is CRUCIAL to the style. The girls will either wear a thick line of BLACK eyeliner an the top and bottom lid with bright and carefully done eyeshadow, or thick eyeliner at the bottom and intense dark black eyeshadow almost to the brow. Lots of girls will wear pale face powder. They will also wear either no lip make-up or put conceler and lip gloss on their lips.

4) PERSONALITY- Most scene kids will be extremely conceited and have a gazillion pics of themselves on myspace. They are mostly loud and random, and have funky personalities. They like to say stuff that no one says anymore (mostly 80's slang). They like to go to raves and shows alot. Some stubborn scene kids claim they're not scene at all, and say their "hardcore"...but we all know they aren't. ;)

5) MYSPACE: Every true scene kid NEEDS to have a myspace. Scene girls will usually have their scene name up for their name, and a kabillion pics of themselves. They also will have a bazillion friends (because they're Myspace whores)

1) Emma: Wow, Becky's been turning into such a scene girl now!
Rachel: I know, she even changed her name on myspace to "Becky Brutal"

2) Scene girls talking amongst themselves: Wow, LOL like, i went to a rave last night!!! but I lost my bow, aw how sad...blah blah blah

Scene Kid

A young guy/girl that wears way too much make-up and believes they are a god/godess.
Often back-comb their hair to unreasonable size and wear multicoloured bows/clips in it.
Random hair colours is also common.

They adopt random add-on names. for example
Sofia-Horror. or Sam Joyce.

person 1: OMG ITS SOFIA HORROR LOOK AT HER BACK COMBED MULTI COLOURED SILLY LOOKING HAIR!

person 2: DAAYYYUUUMMM GIRL NEEDS TO GET A BRUSH TO THAT THANG!

person 3: OHMYGOSH ITS SAM JOYCE!
person 4: stupid twat. wanna be scene kid

scene kids

"unfortunate, tortured youth," often complain about their teen angst with not much consideration for anyone with any real-world issues or other people in general. "Scene kid" often coincides with wearing obscure band t-shirts (even if they've never heard them), dying and cutting one's hair more than once ever 2 weeks or so, playing in some obscure band that usually sucks (with an extremely random name), and wearing "outlandish" clothing to get attention. Often threaten to do stupid things for small amounts of money but really have no balls at all and are all talk. Usually fortunate suburban kids who feel they have something to express by going to "shows" and jumping on each other and making people feel less scene than they (calling others, ironically enough,"poseurs"), scene kids tend to hang out at the mall (probably near but not too near a hot topic), they're the kids wearing the Taking Back Sunday t-shirt to the TBS show, and they most definitely claim to have heard them first and might even know them personally, because it matters oh so much (!?). most scene kids probably don't really know who they are because they've spent so much time following the crowd of myspace users and spend more time trying to figure out if Warped Tour is still cool and taking pictures of themselves from angles than they have on job applications or learning anything relevant to "real life."

you? maybe not. look around. black cut up gloves? hair in face? tons of eye liner and lip gloss (guy or girl). Yeah, that's a scene kid. Laughing at you? YES it probably is. "I'm seriously going to punch those scene kids in the face."

Scene Wolf

An Internet meme playing off of the meme 'Insanity Wolf'. The Scene Wolf meme depicts an angry looking wolf head wearing a stereotypical scene girl hairstyle (big hair, pink streaks, coontails, bows, and clips) and a Hello Kitty necklace. The meme is captioned with statements a scene girl would typically make and exists only to mock those who describe themselves as scene.

Scene Wolf is sometimes said to be Insanity Wolf's daughter.

Scene Wolf: IT'S NOT A PHASE MOM, THIS IS WHO I REALLY AM.
--
WE'VE BEEN TOGETHER A WHOLE WEEK MOM! IT'S TRUE LOVE!!
--
OMG MOM REALLY, ALL I DID WAS METH.
--
I HATE MY MIDDLE CLASS SUBURBAN LIFE.
~~
Scene Wolf: AFTER SCHOOL SNACK. COCAINE.
Insanity Wolf: THAT'S MY GIRL.

scene kids

Non-conforming conformists. Doesn't make much sense, but then neither does the entire 'movement.' Developed from the 'emofags' except, not as whiny; but still pussies when compared to goths, which is pretty bad. Identified by their tight fitting clothing, eye-covering bangs and often colored hair.

When questioned on their status they'll insist they are merely music enthusiasts; quick to brush off so called 'sell out bands' which they secretly listen to while biting their pillows.

The only saving grace to this of many myspace spawned groups is that 'scene-chicks' will often take extremely revealing mirror-pictures of themselves, but even then.

Typical scene kids conversation

-This band is so cool, I hope they never see any success so we don't have to label them sellouts.

-I agree, pass me my clove cigarettes.

Scene Kids

it is unfair to say that scene kids are "gay" or other derogatory terms like that. they are not rude, as one might have said on here, well not as rude as any other person.
i know a few scene kids, and i can asure you they are as normal as you and me...they just look different.
a scene girls hair: has choppy (mostly black) hair. other colors mixed in are common, like hot pink, red, blonde. little girl bows, and bangs at an angle covering one eye.
clothes: are usually more diverse. black and brilliant colors (i suppose a lot like the hair).
slip on shoes (mostly checkered), or converse. black/ white studded belt. sometimes multiple belts.
make up: eye liner is a must BLACK EYELINER and lots of it. bright shades of eyeshoadow usually. sometimes stars on the face.

...that is the style of a scene girl, but the idea of being "scene" is usually knowing a lot about the local music scene. thus, the many band shirts and death grip on their ipod.
favoring unknown bands, and not wanting you to know about them, sayong they began some scene revolution style, and getting pissy when they are copied in makeup or anything, are annoying traits that most all scene kids carry. not to mention that almost everything they do is "hardXcore" and that YOU are always a poser, if you say you even like dinosaurs.
they must have a myspace, become picture whores, and
will.always.
