Big Blue Wrecking Crew

The Big Blue Wrecking Crew is a nickname used to refer to the defense for the New York Giants during the 1980s that won two Super Bowl Championships, the first in Super Bowl XXI in 1987 and the other in Super Bowl XXV in 1991. A 3-4 defense, it was among the greatest NFL defenses of all time, and featured Lawrence Taylor as its star, considered by many to be the greatest defensive player in NFL history.

While anchored by Taylor the unit also featured Giants greats such as Hall of Famer Harry Carson, Carl Banks, Gary Reasons, Leonard Marshall, George Martin, and Jim Burt. With Bill Parcells and Bill Belichick coaching, the Big Blue Wrecking Crew was innovative in it's style of play. Unique at the time, this team tailored it's scheme to the offense of the opposing team something commonplace today.

Jets Fan: "Dude, our defense is like the greatest of all-time,"

Giants Fan: "You obviously never heard of the Big Blue Wrecking Crew,"

Part of the ship, part of the crew

WARNING: CONTAINS SPOILERS

1st Definition:

A famous quote from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, the hit 2006 movie staring Jack Sparrow as played by Johnny Depp, wherein the crew of The Flying Dutchman can be heard chanting this line prior to cutting out the heart of the nearly deceased Will Turner, played by Orlando Bloom, who stabbed the heart of the Davy Jones with the help of Elizabeth Swan, played by Keira Knightley, killing Davy Jones while also saving Will Turner whose fate was then sealed for near eternity as the captain of The Flying Dutchman and ferry departed souls to the afterlife. This line is often used to mock positions in which one feels there is no escape as well as jokingly scare individuals who are new to a situation, suggesting that they will never be able to leave.

2nd Definition:
Unavailable, subject to first rule violation.

Person 1: "You've been here HOW long? Why haven't you left? Found a better place to go?"

Person 2: "Part of the ship, part of the crew..."

Code Name Rebel Crew

A hardcore crew of rappers from the ghetto known as Tring in Hertfordshire. As they said 'most rap is happening in London, but you don't have to be from London to rap.' First becamse famous after being featured on the 1989 hit tv documentary 'bbc rapping low down' they rose to fame from there. Ratty boy (aged about 10, siginificantly younger than the rest of the crew) is the only known and named member of the crew. They rap about serious matters such as global warming, racism and politics. Famed for their posh accents, brilliant dancing and beat boxing antics, this crew are the best (and admitidely only) rap group to come from Tring.

A comeback is rumoured for early 2009! (probably a complete lie)

Code name rebel crew member: I just don't agree with sky tv
Fan: *swoon* I love you code name rebel crew

Ratty boy: Racism is a bad point, i've written a rap about racism, cos i reckon it'll express more strongly than what i can say in words
'way back in the days of sorrow
we thought there'd be no tomorrow
Martin Luther had to fight
Blacks should have an equal right'
Other rapper: yeah big up the code name rebel crew!

Slash Gash Terror Crew

The fanbase for the electronica group Blood on the Dance Floor or BOTDF. While much of this fandom consists of people in the scene and emo subcultures, SGTC members come from all different backgrounds and subcultures. Not all of them are 10-16 girls, contrary to popular belief- like I said, fans of BOTDF come from different backgrounds. A lot of these fans are pretty nice, but like with any other fandom, there are some people in the SGTC that are immature about other people's hatred of BOTDF. A lot of them use the phrase "Haters make them famous" when defending Blood on the Dance Floor from haters. This phrase comes from the song "Ima Monster." Also contrary to popular belief, they don't all like bands like Brokencyde, Black Veil Brides, and Bring Me the Horizon. Granted, there aren't that many that listen to extreme metal or classic rock, but there are some out there.

BOTDF Hater: I hate BOTDF! They totally suck ass!

Mature Slash Gash Terror Crew member: Whatever. You have a right to your opinion. Haters do make them famous, after all.

BOTDF Hater: BOTDF sucks!
Immature Slash Gash Terror Crew member: STFU BIOTCH! BOTDF IS DA BEST BAND EVA! HATERZ MAKE DEM FAMUZ! GO LISTEN TO YOUR GHEY MUSIK YOU FAGGIT BIOTCH!
