word putty

1. Verbal filler.

2. A word or phrase without meaning used to indicate that the end of the sentence has not yet been reached.

3. Evidence someone is talking faster than they are thinking.

"So um, in terms of the, like, household chores, as you know, it's about, well, fully your turn, I think, as they say, to, ah, wash the dishes, so to speak. Know what I mean?"
"Cut the word putty and tell me what you want!"

Expert analysis later revealed more than half the professors lecture was word putty.

"Her rant was fully random - all word putty, but no window!"

space word

A futuristic alternate version of "word", defined in the "Goolien" episode of Weebl and Bob (www.goovies.co.uk/goolien.html).

Like "word", it signifies agreement, acknowledgement or affirmation, although it is most often used in jest in order to parody the overuse of "word" and to reference Weebl and Bob.

"Word."
"You are so out of date! Nobody says "word" anymore. This is the future!"
"Oh. What do we say now?"
"Space word!"

had words

1. v. (past tense) To have played a bitterly divisive game of Words With Friends with someone, therefore becoming mortal enemies.

I used to be good friends with Bobby, but then we had words. Now whenever we see meet, we just let out insane karate kaias, and pummel each other with a tornado of kicks and punches.

Three Words

A sneaky way to tell someone "I love you" without actually saying it. A shorter version of Five Words which stands for "I love you very much". Very usefull when talking to your parents and your friends are around. Sneaking around on the girlfriend. Or in any other situation with someone or something.

kim: "i had a great time last night"

john: "me too, three words".
