Vanguard High School is a school in Northwestern Ocala/Marion County, Florida. It is by far the most ghetto school in Ocala. The day usually starts out with a random shooting across the street, and as the day progresses, multiple drug deals occur. Vanguard has a marvelous IB program, which is full of many protected rich kids, who stray themselves from the rest of the population and pack their lunch like typical nerds. Vanguard's nickname is "The Finest High School In The Land". It is notorious for it's obese staff and administration who like to pummel themselves into the personal lives of their students. Vanguard has an amazing football team, which is it's only backbone to being a real school.

a small town high school consisting of a shit ton of spoiled white bitches a handful of pothead mexicans and about two black people. the cheerleaders and anyone who lives on lake tapps plus anyone they associate with run the the school. however i’d still give the school and overall 6/10 because the parties on lake tapps are some of if not the best parties there is and it’s very easy to get the girls at those parties to do whatever you want as long as your attractive.

This school is full of loud ass bitchy Cubans and full of fuckboys. The principal fucking sucks and doesnt know how to do her fucking job. teachers here fuck their students and have sex in the closets. everyone fucking juuls in the bathrooms. theres always lockdowns and there was a gas leak. this school is gonna get shot up one day probably. people here make racist ass graffiti. this is probably one of the worst schools in Hillsborough county. save yourself and dont come to this ghetto ass school.

Jocks
They date each other, hang out with each other. Sometimes cheerleader girls will hang out with girls who play other sports, like volleyball, gymnastics, or track. But jocks very rarely expand their social circles.
Music Kids
They're "hipsters" who play in the band or sing in the chorus or both, and take music very seriously. They take extra music classes, do the play and musical, and only hang out with each other.
Druggies
They generally hang out in some remote area of the parking lot before, after, and during school. They don't do much.
Sluts
These are the girls that crave attention, usually in the form of male Facebook likes, and then complain about creepers on their bikini/cleavage shot.
Ghetto
They are generally black or Hispanic. They talk loud, wear clothing that is much too tight, act uneducated, and Typee Lykee Diss .
Preps
Excellent grades, athletic, ambitious. They are the ones who came to public school after a private Catholic school. They make friends with the popular kids.
Nerds
Not necessarily smart, these kids love hanging out in their rooms with a video game. Sometimes they get good grades, but not always.
Goths
They hate the mainstream, just like music kids, but goths hate music kids too because they just hate everyone. They stay below the radar and sit in the corner.
Loners
They don't have any friends. They are often used by others for a quick laugh. They are bitter wallflowers. They either look down on others or are afraid of others.
Cheerleader: Hey, look at that weird loner kid.
Jock: OMG what if he shoots us all. Man, that would suck.
Prep: He gets all D-'s!
Music Kid: He doesn't even take band...his situation is dire.
Nerd: I won't even talk to him. He's at the bottom of the high school hierarchy.
Goth: Me, either.
Ghetto: Girl you know I ain't touchin that nutcase.
Slut: I'd fuck him if he would just like my profile picture already.
Skater: Dude, lay off him. He just needs a good batch and he'll be all set.

A little slice of hell. Typical high school in that nothing works, the teachers are boring and inept, and the administration exists for the sole purpose of being ridiculed. Primary site of interest is the haunted B Building basement, and that's it. Most buildings are retrofitted portables or ancient, except for the administration building. Only good point is the football team, which usually kicks serious ass. Also has a decent AG program, which means that you get a bunch of aggies who are just chilling there till they can go work on a farm. Also drains all school funds. School decor involves mostly concrete and orange strips of paint. Orange and grey all the... you get the point. Basically, it sucks.
Adult: So what did you do at Atascadero High School today?
Student: Slept through my first two classes, went to Taco De Mexico for lunch, skipped the horrible pep rally and smoked weed instead.

A school in which marijuana literally grows out of the cracks of the tiles. A hangout for pot-heads, stoners, and the sort; Any school in which the principal is a big fat oaf; A school renown for it's poor education, unqualified teachers, and large amounts of illegal substances.
Random Principal: Wow, our SAT scores have dropped 25% this year.
Vice Principal: Looks as if we are becoming a Riverwood high school.

A girl/boy who is starting their 'slut' reputation out at a younger age. Often times a High school slut has awkward sex with many girls/guys. They don't really mind doing it in the playground next to the school, the men's restroom, the janitors closet, and many other places. High school sluts have 0% Self Respect for themselves and 0% for the person they are doing it with. It's just a win win situation for a High school slut.
Jimmy- "I saw that High school slut in the men's bathroom during 2nd hour today."
Casey- "Really man? Damn.... I wonder if she gives good head."
