joint change account

When a couple reaches the point in their relationship when they realize it would be easier to share piles of coins lying around the house and in the car, rather than try to maintain separate piles.

"How are things between you and Mary?"
"It's getting pretty serious, we moved in together and even opened a joint change account."

Change

A word used so much in the Nigerian presidential campaign back in 2015, that it no longer holds much value.

The government promised change, but after the elections, they changed their promise!

change

Something many people seem to confuse with progress. Not all change is a good thing.

Getting taken back to the Stone Age wouldn't be progress and it wouldn't improve race relations, but it would be a change in direction, and some people love any change as long as it's change. They don't want a slow, steady, and natural progress made, they want a change now when they want it, and if they don't get it they'll walk over anybody they can (anybody they think is the weak one) to try and get their way, to get others to say yes to them instead of no.

Change

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Bach von Hitler would root against a team every week only to be the one trying to dictate to them what they needed to change or improve on the next week, and how to do their jobs.

Change

Whether it's forced on people or not, there will always be a natural resistance, equal and opposite.

As the expression goes, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Change

The business/museum/ store/restaurant was in business for 25 years or more and was a success, but then in about 2020, someone told them they needed to change (shut down) and gave them of list of reasons why, and because they listened to bullshit (and because they were idiots) instead of fighting change, they ended up closing forever. It was fighting change that kept them open, not being up to date.

Change isn't something you need if you're successful at something, don't allow anybody to convince you otherwise, since their motives are questionable if they think change is needed at a time like that.
