It looks like it's pretty much been defined..Abercbrombie is a worthless store that markets crap clothing to the typical 'popular crowd' as well as the insecure dregs who want to 'fit in' with the self centered, materialistic "popular crowd", and it is generally seen as a status symbol
Also, the clothing is generally EXTREMELY overpriced, and one can purchase very similar items that are mroe or less the same thing at Aeropostale, American Eagle, or Hollister (which is also owned by Abercrombie)
Abercrappie also features regualar hits such as "pre-worn jeans" which come beautifully quipped with holes in them. No thanks, but I'll run over my own jeans, and save the $80
I know this because I went to high school, and I saw that the preppy, popular kids always wore it, and I could never understand why. I wanted to fit in so bad, so I tried it. I unfortuanely wasted money on this shit, and was consequently made fun of by my REAL friends, who told me that I was blowing money on crap that I could easily purcahse at other stores, and that it didn't even look good on me.
Pity I didn't listen, when all along, I should have realized that I was posing to be people that didn't give a damn about me, and only cared about wasting their parent's hard earned dough to pose as slutty or preppy, superfifical asswipes.
I don't know why or how it's the case, but if you live in a rich area, that's predominantly white, you will see the 'Abercrombie effect' avoid at all costs, and no matter what, keep telling yourself, that the real "losers" are the people who buy it, who have no taste in clothing, and care only to confrom.
JUST REMEMBER: Buy it if you truly like it...not to fit in, cauz if those people want you, they would like you for who you are, NOT what you wear

Abercrombie is such a nice store. It is classy and cute. It might be a little expensive but what cute store isnt? ex. Bebe. Sequin tops, ripped jeans, and message tops are the hottest things there. Hollister and American Eagle are just like Abercrombie but cheaper.
"Where did you get that cute ass shirt? I love the sequins!"

a store with trendy and stylish clothes that run up a high price but is worth the price.whyle many buy abercrombies clothes to fit in the other buy them because they like them and can afford them but got/punk/emo groups are always dissing on this store and many other "preppy" stores when they end up paying as much for their clothes as we do for ours even though theirs are uglier!!!!

The store where all the preppy Upper-middle-class teens go to get their clothes. It was a sports store founded a long time time ago but then changed to a store for teen clothing and became pure crap! Preps wear it and they say everyone else is jealous because they can't afford it which is almost never true! Preps are the 2nd worst kind of people, the first being Emos.
If god didn't want me to burn Abercrombie, he wouldn't have given me the lighter!

A store where rich people go to spend all their money on shirts that are wrinkled and pants that are pre-worn, but don't worry its the "cool" look. This is a place where people who don't know how they should dress go to because they've seen "popular" people wearing these clothes. This store only has customers which lack a part of their brain, because who else would buy sixty dollars pants with holes in them?
I'm cool because i have new abercrombie pants and they have holes in them...right

abercrombie, Hollister and all that other kids nonsense is cheap clothing for average Joe's at best. Rich people like me wear high class brands like gucci,lacoste,versace, etc. and not that loser abercrombie crap that every poor teenager wears. We wear the stuff that abercrombie types can't afford.

I think it's so stupid how people say how "slutty" abercrombie is. Their clothes aren't meant to be slutty. also, i really don't think they're shirts are that expensive either. i was reading a definition on aeropostale and someone said that abercrombie's clothes are so cheaply made and that they rip after one wash. psh hhh that is retarded. personally, i love abercrombie and hollister, american eagle too, and i think its sad that people talk about how much they hate it. like i dont talk about how much i hate stores like hot topic. i know plenty of people that don't shop at abercrombie that i like and i dont think i'm better than them. every one likes diffrent things
abercrombie isn't slutty, cheap, or overly expensive
