Classic Par

The phrase 'Classic Par' is saved for situations in which a person is horrifically undermined or taunted by another's actions to such an extent that they exercise their right to sit in a dark corner and cry for 32 days (or should do).

(Not to be confused with 'Par' or 'Raw Par')

Situation:
Girl 1 (17) is going out with Boy 1 (20).
Boy 2 likes Girl 1 and Girl 1 likes Boy 2.
In fact, Girl 1 likes Boy 2 so much that she dumps Boy 1 to be with him.

This could be described as a 'Classic Par'
alternatively, it could be said that Boy 2 'Classically Parred' Boy 1

VH1 Classic

The absolute greatest tv channel on tv.
Has shows like Metal Mania that plays for hours in a row. That Metal Show is a show where they sit and talk about music for a half hour. They have specials like "100 greatest rock songs" or "top ten greatest rock bands", etc. They show concerts and movies like The Doors and The Wall, etc.
They have hour long shows that are like, One hit wonders, and Power Ballads, etc.

BEST CHANNEL EVER.
GO WATCH IT.
QUIT LISTENING TO YOUR POP CRAP OF 2009 AND LISTEN TO SOMETHING GOOD ON VH1 CLASSIC <3

I love VH1 Classic. It's the best TV channel ever made!

classical liberalism

a political philosophy perpetuating free-market economics, minimalist government, strong private property rights, non-interventionism, government disinvolvement in social issues, separation of church and state, and open borders. the word "liberal" was originally associated with these beliefs, but liberals eventually started promoting large government, closed markets, redistribution of wealth, and high government involvement in social issues. today, liberal is associated with the latter qualities. the newer liberals are sometimes identified as neo-liberals. in modern day, a classical liberal tends to self-identify as a libertarian, and the term classical liberal is used much less than it was 100-200 years ago. some libertarian causes, like the Mises institute, still commonly use the term.

harry, who perpetuates classical liberalism, votes either republican or libertarian.

When a brand new tune blows everyone's mind because you just know it is going to be the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Dude, did you listen to Kendrick Lamar's Blacker the Berry?
Yeah man. That is what I call an instant classic.

classical music

1) Historically the style of art music common in Europe during the period between the middle of the 17th century and the beginning of the 18th century. The works of Haydn and Mozart and the earlier work of Beethoven (who also played a large role in the transition from classical to romantic) are prime examples. Bach isn't classical. Tchaikovskij isn't classical. Chopin isn't classical.
2) In common language all art music made between the early 17th century to present, usually by composers with education or at least some knowledge of the art of composition. (In other words, practically all art music from the early 17th century up until now.)

There is a lot of wordprejudice/word against both of the above definitions of the term.

Classical music is exemplified by such composers as Haydn and Mozart.
