A member of a forum that has extra rights and abilities to "keep the peace" and enact the rules set forth by the website admin or owners. Is most oftentimes (98%) a nerd that got his ass beat in high school and feels that, through the only authority he will ever obtain, he must take it out on "normies" and the rest of the world, by enforcing pointless rules. Usually in real life, they don't do well in direct sunlight and can't backup any confidence in real life.
Usually forum moderators that follow the rules strictly or more than a passive/collected moderator are enormously boring in real life, but think they are interesting and liked because of their personalities on the internet world. They don't realize it's the same reason why people try to make "friends" with a police officer.
"I couldn't figure out why I didn't have any cool friends, so I became a forum moderator in order to take my pain out on the world."

Roblox Mods are the team that moderates Roblox. Roblox Mods are people that ban you off of Roblox for no apparent reason. They ban and ban and ban. People can impersonate your parents and ban you.
Roblox Moderation banned me for no reason. Ruben Sim got banned for calling out the head Roblox Moderator. Roblox Moderators are one of the worst people ever at times.

Roblox Moderation was made for the intent of moderation players who actually break the rules, but that does not seem to be happening, most bans are false bans.
They terminate accounts that belong to 7 year olds.

A discord moderator is a person who abuses their power and cannot accept a fact.
These individuals are very salty and mostly annoying.

A cranky old piece of dipshit, conflicted with nerdy humor and a nonexistant social life, these nerds' dreams in life are to become moderators so they can sit around all day and moderate messages on a forum. They're extremely paranoid, only worst of all, certain things that should be moderated aren't, and vice versa. It goes to the point where you can't actually say anything debate-like.
It's so hard to write anything because it;ll get moderated, and all because the moderator took what you said the wrong way because they're sicko perverts who jack off to anime.
That basically sums up the moderators. Don't forget, they obviously don't have a social life if they moderated for a forum. Although, wasting my time writing a definition for them isn't helping my life.
One time I accidentally, unintentionally, and barely used a replacement for a worse word (i said fork instead of fuck, and i was explaining how that rule should be remembered), then I got a suspension even though I had no prior moderations, and I had 50 karma. Instant ban. Next time I'll think twice before giving others my example.
One time I marked a username impersonating me directly, and nothing happened. why the fuck could he get away with that bullshit?
My definition is kinda screwed up. It applies to all people of GameFAQs, not just gamefaqs moderators.

A bad moderator is a moderator who spend his time abusing his powers instead of doing any good.
Saying stuff like he's above the rules and complaining when people leave after he goes against them.
Have you heard of Ascensiam? He's a really bad moderator.
