adj: someone who trys WAY to hard to fit in with people that PROBABLY hate them; people that arn't orginal and have no backbone so they try to fake something they're not.

There is no 'scene'.
Scene is made-up wonderland where pretentious fucknuts boast their underground music cred while wasting money on quasi-vintage clothing when they could've used it to further their college education and done something useful with their lives.
See that kid, unwashed and trying to make up for his complete lack of personality with five pounds of eyeliner? That's fucking scene.

-have a Myspace page
-upload 769507pictures of them fully photoshopped their page
-have their Myspace name as alliteration, normally involved in brutality, eg. CLAIRE CARNAGE<333
-all claim to be different,but most of them are clones
-have normally blonde or black hair,with coons or extensions
-backcomb their hair, with a bow in it
-boys would wear make up
-have 'xxxxxxxxxx' in their screen names
-mostly bisexual or say they are
-have about 05878piercings on their face,Mostly look ridiculous on girls but sometimes look alright (eg. monroe,bridge,septum,nose, eyebrow, snakebites, tongue etc)
-girls wear false eyelashes, extensions, tons of black eye make up
-just say they like the latest 'scene' bands cus they wanna be in with the trend

-go to hardcore gigs just to be with friends and 2 step

-because of this they turn vegetarian or vegan
-own vast ammounts of drop dead clothing
-have an annoying style of writing, for example but about 30 three's on love-hearts (<33333333333333)
-have lots of band shirts and dinosaur shirts
-wear bat and hello kitty jewellery
-either straight edge or not edge,depending on the scene crowd they go with
-have about 67893456797 friends on their Myspace but only talk to about 2 of them (this makes it go to their head and they start to get cocky as they think their famous, they get vainer and vainer and more fake,and talk about how great they are 'i'm rad yo')
-infact, they couldn't live without a Myspace

Literally just a scene for the post-MTV generation. Without any real idea of what made the beatniks, hippies or punks so influential, fashioncore kids focus all of their energy and mental capabilities on following clothing trends.
Scenesters live to be popular and look down on 'new' kids for not knowing anyone in their scene.
Another notable scenester trait is to make fun of other, more substantial subcultures for being 'old'.
And something about music. I dunno.

scene happens to be a very popular trend right now. it's funny because the "scene" was made for people who're original and don't follow the crowd but set their own trends. so why is it that all scene people are exactly the same? oh no, i understand, one day you just decided that robots, dinosaurs, and guns were "hella raddd" scene kids like their lightening to be "electrikk" and their guns go "bangbang" and shoot out hearts, stars, or rainbows. they say they're just original yet they're all exact copies of one another.
HOW TO IDENTIFY A SCENE BOY:
-tight pants
-SEXX hair that covers most of their face but not their awesome lip ring or snake bites
-tight band t-shirt
-two possibilities for jackets: a big one with a furry hood or a tight one, usually black and for a band.
-converse
-eyeliner
-they'l be surrounded by a lot of other scene boys and girls
HOW TO IDENTIFY A SCENE GIRL:
-short choppy hair, usually black. most of the time they'll be random pieces that are white, platinum blonde, or a neon color
-always dressed in black and then a lot of bright colors, usually hot pink or lime green
-TONS of makeup. a lot of black eyeliner followed by a metallic color like a teal or pink for eyeshadow.
-they'll probably be wearing a brightly colored bandana around their "SEXX HAIR"
-if they don't have a bandana they'll be wearing a bow made for little girls or a brightly colored headband
-when they wear bracelets, it's not just one, it's about 50 on each arm and they're "sexx bracelets" and cheap plastic bracelets they think are cute from 25cent machines and stores like "CLAIRES"
-super tight jeans that go straight down (no flare)
-neon flats, those flat "stretch-like sneaker" with no laces
-surrounded by tons of clones (other "scenesters")
TYPICAL INTERESTS OF SCENE KIDS:
-robots
-dinosaurs (they often like to mimic them by saying "rawr" and "grr" ALL the time)
-ELECTRIKK lightning
-guns
-bright colors
-taking millions of themselves using "the angles"
-using photoshop to make the pictures "THE SEXX"
-myspace, myspace, and myspace. they're usually what people call "myspace whores" and they add millions of "original people" just like them and get people to add and comment them
-fingerless gloves, preferably black. (the scenesters who try really hard to be scene cut them themselves)
-the scene vegetarians and vegans are only like that because it's cool, they could care less about the animals
-they're so sxe (straight edge) and like to signify that by drawing big XXX's on their hands
-they go to tons of shows, usually in their area. most of the time they don't even know the band, they just wanna go in the pit and show off their hxc dancing and skank.
-they like using words like "hella," "hawt," and "cunt" (a lot). they type in LEET, like "WER G0IING_2 TH3 HXC ROCKSH00W &&_& TH3N G0ING 0UT 4 TACOZZ" yet they claim they hate it when people "tyPpee LyKk diSs."
-they only listen to THEIR music, any other music sucks.
Basically, scenesters are attention whores and hypocrits. they're fake and self-centered.

Scene is a stereotype that most people have never heard of and usually have no idea they belong to. Many of the people who are 'scene' think that they act preppy or emo or whatever other labels they feel like sticking themselves with. Some 'scene' kids don't want a label and merge all sorts of different stereotypes together. According to these definitions, that is what scene is, isn't it? Some confused kids who are trying to be original but can't help but flow with the current and are unfairly punished with the 'horrid' label of being scene? Many of the scene kids are proud to be scene and follow the crowd on purpose. But many more of them were just swept away without being able to get a word in edgewise. So go ahead and wear your vintage tees with an overabundance of black eyeliner and your cheetah print Vans. One day you'll realize what your label is and all of us definers will feel like complete idiots when you get rich off of your super popular 'scene' clothing line. Show off your Sex dance moves at System of a Down concerts and listen to Relient K on your walkman on the way home from 'chillin wit ur DaWgZ' at the mall. Us original, hardcore, judgemental computer freaks will slap ourselves in the face when your highchool 'scene' band shoots off and you get a major record deal and can afford to smash your hot pink guitar over your boy/girlfriends head then be able to pay off the cops and get probation for six months, while the rest of us are rotting in prison for 25-to-life and our black 1980's guitars are lying in the same place at that last underground cavern we played at. But yea, no one be scene, 'cause it's bad. Very, very bad. And we will punish you. Pfft.
