okay....here it goes...i dont even know what im going 2 say about avril....but i just wanna voice my opinion...okay: i dress alot like avril except 4 the tie-thingy...okay once i wore a tie somewhere and kids and parents were like ...''why the heck are u wearing a tie''...i was like'' my grrrreat idol avril does'' psssh...noone cares about ties..and i realized that trying 2 be like her wasnt working...i still dress the way she does ,but not because of her...okay her are the trues and the not trues..... 1. avril is a poser..-true. 2. avril sings like....uh...sh!t.- true. 3. avril lies about her fans and her life- true..4.avril claims to be ''punk'' and that she wouldnt be caught in a belly shirt- lie! she wore one...i have a picture of it. 5. avril does set a role model theme for many young girls - true...poor kids. 6 avril was seen drunk and making out with a friend or the same sex- TRUE!!! 7.avril dropped out of school in high school and never finished ..''tisk tisk tisk'' never graduated---TRUE ONce again! . ...a role model huh..? u wanna be her role model now? ....but there are ''some''(like one..haha) positive thing(s) about avril ...1. she is from canada!!! yay ! canada...rock on..(i am 1/2 canadian)...and the other thing is she dresses sortof ''good'' for being a pozer..-...sadly true......lets just admit it avril suxx...but never fear avril ...u can always look in the mirror....that is her only friend...if the mirror wont ...break.
(avril shouldnt be making millions..to spend on her black nail polish(i have worn it ),converses (yes they are cool),and other ''garb''she might don.

The term Avril Push was derived from Avril Lavigne music videos which, more or less, follow the same formula. Theres always a man that looks like hes from a shampoo/hair product commercial that is mean to Avril. At some point in the video, Avril pushes this man away from her (almost always in slow-motion) and then runs off to sing into the camera.
This term has come to describe any scenario in which a distressed woman pushes a man away in an overly-dramatic fashion and then runs off.
Angus: "Yeah so what happened with your girlfriend last night. You were at the party and she was acting like you were being all mean to her. Did she Avril Push you?"
Roger: "Yeah, it was weird. I was talking to her and then she pushed me really really slowly and then ran away and started singing."

A female Canadian-born singer and songwriter. Generally speaking, she can write songs that make sense and she can sing at some point. She used to dress and act like an angry punk-rocker but she changed her style since her third album released. She is both loved and hated by people; some do because of her music and other do because of her persona. She also curses, and likes to say words such as "fuck" and "damn".
The only thing that many people criticize her is her personality. One minute she was slamming Britney Spears and swore that she'd never dress like a music hore, selling her body instead of her music, the next minute she's become another Britney Spears, or as she thinks, "a punk version of Britney Spears and a more mature" of herself. She then sings songs like "Hot" and "Girlfriend" and wears revealing clothes.
She often claims that she is not a pop star but in fact she is. Basically, her songs are just pop songs with some rock beats.
Since her third album, her style changed to more pop, but she thinks it's girly punk. She now tries to act gothic, and have launched a fashion line of clothes and perfumes(one called "Forbidden Rose").
However, despite that many think she's fake and arrogant(she pretended having baby just for fun), there are still many, most are teenagers, love and support her. She is commercially successful.
You said that you wouldn't want to dress like a cheerleader, and now you're wearing clothes that show your boobs. You're just like Avril Lavigne.

Anti-Avril is a website or a person who is Anti-Avril Lavigne. These people are usually this way, because how she claimed to be a punk and created an army of tie wearing pre-teens screaming "I'm so PuNX!!! TEE!!!111oneone!!!". Fact of the matter, She DID say it. And I quote "I'm a skater punk who plays guitar driven rock." and many others. She even admitted to saying she was punk. Of course, she took it back when she saw the uproar it caused. She Sucks, therefor, Anti-Avril = good.

The self-proclaimed Sid Vicious for a new generation, quite accurate considering they are both untalented musicians who concentrate more on image and try their best to look "rebelious" "badass" and "punk rock" and was marketed and chosen by the establishment to make money off of kids trying to be "rebelious" "badass" and "punk rock".
