Ridgefield, CT

Ridgefield, Connecticut is a small, wealthy town residing in Fairfield County. Most would say that its racial balance is "unhealthy," which is totally true when you take your first gander at the staggering white majority. The town values its money dearly, and if you don't believe me, look at the bank, next to the bank, next to the bank. The public and private school systems are phenomenal, notably Ridgefield High School, Saint Mary's School, and East Ridge Middle School. The town is subtly historic, with 1700's era colonials lining the town's main street. This town is fairly cultured, with a large number of musicians and artists, along with the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum. Overall, it is an expensive but great place to live and grow up in, although you might have a secluded upbringing as a child. On a downside, however, the drug consumption and dealing rate is high, mostly because of the bored, rich teenagers with time to kill.

"Where is the nearest ATM in Ridgefield, CT?"

"Visit Union Savings Bank, it's right across from Citi Bank, which is right across from Wells Fargo, which is right across from Bank of America."

Portland, CT

A small town in the middle of nowhere. No one else in CT knows where Portland is. Your principals were the assholes Kate Lawson and Scott Geigerich. In Portland you either get drunk/high in a car, garage, or basement. Everyone has worked at the quarries, dunkin, and tri town. You "cruise" in the state forest and throw your beer cans in peoples front yards. You travel to Bopi once a week for alc and mobil 3 times a week for nic.

Let's cruise and get drunk at Tylers house in Portland, CT!

Newtown, CT

Newtown, CT is located in Fairfield County - the 203. It consists of several well-known landmarks: Ram's Pasture, the Flagpole, and... wait, no... that's it. The true purpose for anyone below the ago of 21 to visit Newtown is for the outrageous parties these kids know how to throw. Basically, anyone that grows up in Newtown, CT is, or will become in the near future, an alcoholic. This is due the complete lack of anything to do in this town and the skillful tactics of avoiding cops during enormous liquor-fests. Typical locations for such shitfests are the woods, barns, and anyone's empty house. At these parties, high-schoolers engage in the intake of massive amounts of hard liquor chased with a miller high life. This level of partying allows for one's tolerance level to be raised to that above a college senior's. This, to say the least, is impressive. But no one in Newtown is ever impressed. Drinking in school is also popular. Those whose tolerance levels are lower, for unexplained reasons, are caught by Kathy or Novia. But, underage alcoholism is the norm.

Weed is the second most popular substance. Smoking during school or sports practice is not uncommon because no one ever gets caught. It's easy to find and usually only $20 per ounce, but it's good shit. Hitting gravities at parties is expected, accepted, and respected. Marijuana has gained popularity among the large population of Newtown Hippies and has spread among all social groups, including cheerleaders.

Gathering at Dunkin Donuts while drunk is common. Even without saying anything, everyone knows to meet at either dunkin donuts or the diner. And even though cops are always stationed at these two locations, they never say anything because they know what it's like to grow up in Newtown. They understand that it's our way of life. And they understand we're not like those area code 860 kids who'll get caught for being stupid. They know we're the smart drunks.

When you meet someone from Newtown, assume they are:
a) drunk
b) high
c) drunk and high
d) will be drunk and high later
e) all of the above

In conclusion, those who have ever lived in Newtown know that Newtown kids know how to party, how not to get caught, and how to get shitfaced and coherently drive to the blue Colony Diner and order a belgian waffle at 2 a.m.

"I've already had 4 handles of Dubra, 3 cases of Miller High Life, 9 pints of Goldschlager, and 14 ice-luges of Watermelon Bacardi and i'm not drunk. This is what I get for growing up in Newtown, CT."

Newtown, CT

An affluent town in upper Fairfield County, Connecticut and home to the Nighthawks of Newtown High School. The community is slightly diverse and is growing rapidly. High school and college students alike find Newtown to be a rather entertaining area. With two sizeable lakes and two town parks there is always something to do when school gets out for the summer.

Newtown kids also have the hobby of getting absolutely fucked up. Activities range from getting shitfaced for Senior League or leaving to take gravities during your free period. Getting fucked up for high school dances is also a fine art; get wasted, but don't get caught. Drinking in school was the best as long as you don't run into Kathy or Novia. It's played with 10 cups, not 6, and if you're not up you play a different game (or smoke a cig). Parties are all over the place during weekends, but you could always just drink in someone's basement. Roll a Dutch, play some i95 and just chill out. Of course you can find better things than weed and alcohol, if you're into that. What it comes down to is Newtown is the shit. We run this state.

A: You wanna go to that rager?
B: Yeah, but it's on the other side of town.
A: Fuck you, Newtown, CT isn't that big.
B: Alright, let's get out of here.
A: You're buying Diner later when I'm to shitfaced to drive.

Huntington CT

Like White Hills, it's one of two other boroughs of Shelton CT that choose not to be associated with the name 'Shelton.' While Shelton is home to the town's car dealerships, stores <<cough>> wal-mart <<cough, cough>>, and the downtown ghetto, Huntington and White Hills are full of nice houses with lawns, golf courses, and people who aren't in their 9th year of High School.

"Where are you from?"
"Huntington CT."
"Oh, Shelton?"
"No... Huntington..."
"Is there really a difference?"
"You bet your ass there is!"

Berlin, CT

When one looks fondly- or even more likely, not-so-fondly- back on the time they spent in Berlin, CT, it can quickly become clear whether they are from the town itself, or have simply visited.

Those visiting are most likely more poor than %90 of the residents of Berlin and do not understand the odd things the town likes to do, including decorating the whole town for any holiday that rolls around (scarecrows everywhere on Halloween) and decorating their fire engines to parade round the streets 24/7.

It is easy to pick a Berlinite out- they are white, with girls in northface jackets and uggs, holding a coach purse and juggling between swim team and sex and boys in skinny jeans and swim team t shirts, riding their bikes through the drive thru at Dairy Queen and either unintentionally acting gay, or trying to hide the fact that they are gay from their parents.
Although the neighboring town of New Britain is much more obvious about its drug use, Berlinites are no strangers to weed, mostly because they're rich and have nothing better to do.

It should be noted that it can be counted on one hand how many non-white people live in the town. Berlin may possibly be the most racist town in CT, second only perhaps to West Hartford.

Berlinite 1: So...wanna walk to DQ? Theres nothing else to do, since we live in Berlin, CT...
Berlinite 2: Sure, I guess... Here, hold my joint while I get my uggs on.
