A trend developing especially within the younger sets of the American straight male population defined by behaviors rejecting traditional notions of masculinity. This can include the wearing of traditionally feminine articles of clothing such as the color pink and girl pants. It also includes an attitude of rejection towards tested definitions of manhood in favor of feminine counterparts. Part of the cause of this trend is the mocking of the adult male within the popular culture as a pre-requisite of hip personhood. This popular culture contempt was combined with a diminishment of the father within the home vis a vis the rising divorce rate and the erosion of the relevance of the labor movement; which led to greater coercive top-down work environment realities, which in turn left more fathers with less to teach their sons about being vigorous men. Coupled with the rise of Feminism and the branding of vigorous masculinity as an erroneous danger to women's values; without any aknowledgement of the empathy and depth that can coexist with masculine vigor. This led to a fragmentation of vision of what exactly constituted an adult American male. The fragmentation with no teaching has led to significant portions of young men attempting to receive initiation in adult behaviors and morays from women. As a result of this a male within the sphere of De-Masculinization will often more strongly identify with female siblings and friends than with other men, due to his lack of knowledge regarding masculine feeling and self. The prominence of De-Masculinization within the larger culture contributes to an ever larger number of perpetual boys who will delay the onset of adult male understanding and responsability. Postulated programs for the reverse of this trend include mentoring programs and the mythopoetic men's movement.

An expression used to describe happenings, situations, objects, events and people that are disgusting, gross or otherwise socially unacceptable. Originating from the phrase "the grossest one", de grit evolved to become a concise way to express the sentiments that we all feel everyday. However, de grit can also be used to affectionately put down friends.

Dis is de ritual of the ugandan knuckles tribe. Dey search fo a kween, (basically knuckles + bobs = queen) and praise er. If angery, dey will spit on yu, or cluck to call reinforcements. Dey will even battle enemi knuckle triebs, but, dey can never beat a communist knuckles.

A slang word only given to younger brothers that are deserving of such Ass Hattery. A combination of Spanish (de) and English (bud) to fully express the interchangeability of said younger brother being "cool" or a "total doucher", depending on the context of said word being used.
Older Brother: Hey, did you wash your hands after you took a shit?
Younger Brother: Maybe, would you like to smell them and find out?
Older Brother: De bud, WTF man? Did you clean your shit loaded hands off or not?
A De Gnome is someone who is slow, no matter what the scenario. They will repeatedly bring up the same joke several times throughout the day without realising they have already made the joke once before. Another aspect of a De Gnome is that they tend to have bad takes on certain topics, such as "the chimera ant arc is bad".

De boa might be one of the most flexible terms in nowadays brazilian informal dialogue.
The first use of De boa is to refer a calm and peaceful guy.
The second use of De boa means the same calmness from last definition, not being a permanent and part of the personality of someone, but an episodic and temporary stage of calmness. It is frequently used to decline some invitation to stay quiet in your place
Other use for De boa is exactly the same for "i'm cool" when you kindly refuse something they're offering you, like cigarette, food, etc.
