When two people who have a special interest in one another get together for a period of time to simply just:
Snack, talk, watch a show, and sleep

(The main activity would be sleeping)

I didn't feel like going out so I suggested we just stay in for a nap date.

expensive nap

A movie or play that is so boring you sleep through it. It usually costs a decent sum of money.

Depression naps

Often used by those suffering from depression or heart break to “fast forward” through the day. The thought process is sleeping thru the day so as to not have to deal with there conscious thoughts and emotional pain.

Cameron: “Hey dude, you okay? You didn’t text back all day?”

Tanner: “yeah was just taking some depression naps, This Katie shit hurts”

halo nap

Taking a brief nap after work or classes to allow one to play halo into the early morning.

Dude, I took a halo nap so I can pwn until 6am.

James Nap

When you lay in your bed and stare at the ceiling as depression hits.

"Sorry mate, I was busy having a James Nap"

devil's nap

The devil's nap is taken around 5-8p and usually lasts about two hours. When you awake from the devil's nap, you normally have lost all sense of time and typically believe it's much later than it actually is.

When I woke up from the devil's nap, I thought I was late for work, but it turns out it was still Sunday evening.
