Pink Film

Low-budget Japanese pornography which often features an "artsy" feel. Many young Japanese filmmakers get their start by directing pink films, which is not viewed as derogatorily in Japan as in the US, often leading these directors to mainstream success outside of the pornography business.

Several of these films such as "Tandem", about a train-groper, have received acclaim on the international art house circuit.

Toshiki Sato, Hisayasu Sato, and Takahisa Zeze have been dubbed "The Kings of Pink" in Japan due to the acclaim their pink films have gotten them, both domestically and abroad.

Bro-Film

A bro-film is the complete opposite of a "Chick-Flick". This is a movie that, instead of being watched with your girlfriend, should be watched with your guy friends, hence "Bro-Film"

Guy 1: Dude have you seen The Notebook?
Guy 2: No, I'd much rather see a Bro-film than a chick-flick.
Guy 1: Oh yeah, like, "I love you, Man"

comfort film

a film one watches that one has seen a minimum of 100 times and it never gets old. typically a comedy, it is usually watched on a lazy day at home. if you see this film on tv, you'll probably watch it without changing the channel.

Examples could be:

Airplane, Caddyshack, Kill Bill, Napoleon Dynamite, Ferris Bueller, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Happy Gilmore, The Breakfast Club, Dodgeball, Zoolander, Wedding Crashers

Person 1: Are you watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off again??
Person 2: Yeah, so? It's my comfort film!
