In Humanist Gender-Neutral English, "homies" is the gender-neutral equivalent of "dudes" or "ya'll" -- in other words, a universal way to address any group comprised of any combination of genders (e.g., all men, all women, coed, etc.).
Note that the first syllable in homies is pronounced like "hom" in hominids vs. the common AAVE way so as not to be appropriative, but it should be understood with either pronunciation.
To a group of men, women, boys, girls, and so on: "What up, homies? How's it going?"
