The inability to see certain things due to them being excluded from your vision by your brain. This is most common with things that obscure your vision or are unnecessary for you to see but it can potentially happen to anything. For some people, they will be able to see it after either looking again or having it pointed out to them but some people will still be unable to see it. Mental blindness can play a part in some optical illusions.
Despite looking at the entire map, I could not see the part with my location due to my mental blindness.
An easier way to say Theory of mind.

This includes the knowledge that others' mental states may be different from one's own states and include beliefs, desires, intentions, emotions, and thoughts. Possessing a functional theory of mind is considered crucial for success in everyday human social interactions. People use such a theory when analyzing, judging, and inferring others' behaviors. The discovery and development of mental theory primarily came from studies done with animals and infants. Factors including drug and alcohol consumption, language development, cognitive delays, age, and culture can affect a person's capacity to display theory of mind.

You love being social and all together however if you put a bucket out there with a bunch of us or crabs you see one crab try to climb out and escape that bucket. The next Crab sees this and maneuvers to climb over all others and grab that other “Mitch” Crab and pull his Crab ass back down. Essentially at its core, the meaning of someone not supportive of someone you know who is going above and beyond to push forward, or surpassing their status .
The Crab Mentality in this area is too much. It’s Toxic, Abrasive without care or consideration for the better of us as a whole community.
