Lee Rui, better known by the mononym Rui, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, actor and dancer. Her debuted at age 14 as a member of the group LASW (Las Armys Son Weonas) in May 2018, and his subsequent successes and artistic impact have led her to being called the "Idol's Idol"
Rui is noted for his distinctive, intricate dancing style, which often incorporates elements of contemporary dance. His frequent use of androgynous fashion and heavy make-up, especially starting from his 2020 hit single "Chapalapachala", has become one of his trademarks.
Lee is recognized as the pioneer of the genderless trend in the performance of female K-pop idols.
