Winter Play

A sexual act preformed during the winter months, preformed outside in the snow with yourself or another person.

So, my girlfriend and I preformed a little winter play yesterday, to celebrate the first snowfall of the season.

Play Oblivion

To leave a group of friends to pleasure oneself under the guise of playing the hit Bethesda game Oblivion.

Face-play

The sexual act commonly mistaken with foreplay, it's more common alternative. Faceplay is any sexual act having to do with the face and foreplay. It was first recognized in association to the rare nose fetish.

Playing the field

When a person juggles multiple romantic relationships with different people at once. Playing the field involves the player actually going on dates and is actively engaging in the relationships instead of just hooking up (see thot or fuckbuddy)

playing the harp

To be so deep in thought or daydreaming that you are not aware of someone speaking to you.

Similar to the 'Space Cadet' and 'Away with the fairies', though this one also refers to someone in deep thought as well as someone who is daydreaming.

Comes from the common drawings of deities playing the harp in the clouds.

Person 2: Let him be, can't you see Andy is playing the harp?

play the violin

Another way of saying you will "slit your wrist". To understand, hold a "playing the violin" position with your arms/hands. Now, picture the position without the violin and instead of the bow used to play the instrument, picture yourself holding something sharp with the other hand.

This saying was created after watching a scene from the movie, "Gerald's Game" where the main character "Jessie" cuts an incision up "her wrist and into her palm, then forcing her hand down through the cuff as the skin peels upward like a latex glove coming off."

when you've been so used to saying "I want to kill myself" (which might worry whoever you're talking to), you can instead say "I want to play the violin" or "I'm gonna go play the violin"

when you see something that makes you want to commit death, you'd say "This makes me want to play the violin"

Playing horseshoes

Code talk for sex, usually said to avoid attention from parents, teachers, etc.

This weekend, I'll be playing horseshoes with her.
