A Prep or Preppy is a person mostly a teenager who thanks there better then everyone else and have to have everything perfect and they thank there always right, there also up to date with fashion and famous hair cuts and are always wearing the latest fashion.

One who often is associated with wearing clother and apparel from Abercrombie & Fitch and other hot label clothing stores, however could also describe a high popularity status and/or means showing a dislike for other clicks or groups.
Preps usually look down to anyone but themselves and other preps. Preps may also display a extremely ego-centrical attitude. Being one, they could just look down to other groups of people, even.
A typical prep may appear to be (but not always) ego-centric, dress in Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, and American Eagle clothing.
When you want to attract someone to your group, school, sisterhood or brotherhood.

A guy or a Girl who are cocky and only care about their group of preps. Someone who watches Jersey Shore and wear true religion, lacoste and Ed Hardy. They don't care about anyone else and aren't usually liked by "normal" people. They often have memberships at private clubs.

LL bean "bean boots", hunter boots, using a lilly pullitzer agenda, monogrammed EVERYTHING especially notebooks, laptops etc, baseball cap style vineyard vines hats, obnoxiously large pearl earrings, t- shirts from "southern proper" or "southern tide", lonchamp bags, 27 alex and ani bracelets, statement necklaces from j crew, a j crew vest, chino shorts, lilly pulitzer dress, patagonia fleece, burberry style scarves, monogram necklaces, kate spade initial gold necklaces, ray ban clubmasters, vineyard vines shep shirts and t- shirts.
They can be found summering in the East Hamptons, NY or in Nantucket, or any place in Maine. Often a republican, often extremely rich, and always classy.
