On the pain train

The state where one person endures a set of mixed yet painful emotions for a period of time after they left a relationship with a partner whom they've invested a great amount emotionally.

There is nothing you or anyone can do when you're on the pain train but endure it until you get off on the next station where things will be a lot better

Pain Turkey

A medical patient who is believed to be faking their pain.

That patient is such a pain turkey, they are just here to get attention, painkillers, or both.

The sensation of pain that transcends the pain of a natural injury.

Immersive Pain
