Sigh

So idiotic, get help

Used after a statement:
I can't believe you thought the earth is flat. Sigh.

Used as a singular reply to what someone says or does:
I don't need directions. (Gets lost)

Brain Sigh

When someone watches/reads the news about everything that is happening ALL over the world and their brain decides to have an aneurysm. The brain waves the white flag to surrender with hopes that heaven might be calmer.

My grandma experienced a brain sigh. She was watching the 6 pm news, held her head, and had an aneurysm. The news technically killed her?

eye sigh

When someone rolls their eyes in frustration.

My wife gave me the ol' eye sigh in bed.

sit-and-sigh

A gathering, function, or just spending fun time with people whom you care about, and who care about you, such as family, friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, etc.
It's just a fun, relaxing time that you spend with those of whom you love, and if you're relaxed and comfortable, you let out a contented sigh.

For Thanksgiving, this year, me and my family had a Thanksgiving sit-and-sigh.

a sigh for help

This is not a huge act of desperation like a "cry for help" such as when someone says a statement that they may kill themselves or take a bunch of drugs. This is more like someone wearing an ill-fitting and unattractive shirt or announcing that they may be changing their religious views. It's not too dramatic but there's some drama for sure.

Jeremy: "Did you hear about Ashlyn?"
Ulysses: "Nope. She do something dumb again?"
Jeremy: "Well, she wrote a poem and left it at Hugo's desk. It was about a flower or something. Hugo didn't like it."
Ulysses" "Hmmm. That seems like a sigh for help. I may need to read that poem though. I like flowers."

Sigh... gonna be here a while

What you say to your helper-buddy shortly after starting out on a tedious task that has shown itself to be a lot more complicated, slow-progressing, and/or time-consuming than you'd originally expected, or to a delinquent or other emotionally/mentally-challenged client who is unable/unwilling to just give you simple straight answers.

Dr. Phil: Let's talk about your childhood.
Madea: (with cheeky cheerfulness) Let's talk about YOUR childhood.
Dr. Phil: Okay, let's try a different approach. Do you sleep well at night?
Madea (breezily): Do YOU sleep well at night?
Dr. Phil: Sigh... gonna be here a while!
