Abercrombie and Fitch

I am like seriously exhausted oh hearing people talk trash about abercrombie.(or any place that is similar (aero, american eagle, hollister, Abercrombie and Fitch). There is aboslutely nothing wrong with any brand that is considered preppy by a majority. I would call myself a prep and do not see a problem wiht it at all. If getting good grades, being liked by alot of people, having yahts, and being comfortable enough with ourselves to express it through material items then so be it. I'm terrible sorry if your not skinny enough to waer abercrombie, don't have enough money to wear or just don't have that much of a fashion sense then you are trully missing out on alot. And no, I don't think im better then everyone else, I just know that if you really hated the brand then just stop talking about it. I am willing to pay the extra dollars to have clearly declare the two words abercrombie and fitch across my chest. And seriosuly abercrombie is not expensive try actualy desinger labels like Gucci, Versache or Prada and then you will relaly understand the meaning of expensive clothes! As long as I or my parents can afford it, i will continue to buy this brand and proudly wear it! I love Abercrombie and Fitch and you should too!

non A%F girl- omg abercrombie is so preppy i hate, people should spen money on other things

A&F girl- Your Jeolous!! That's right J-E-O-L-O-U-S! JEOLOUS!
I love Abercrombie and Fitch and you should too!

Abercrombie and Fitch

A brand for which peeps feel completely justified to define (in urban fashion) as a clear marker for recognizing trust fund-wielding meat/air-heads with a lack of style/originality and a propensity to conform.

Ironically, revealing their very selves as pretentious dickbags who believe the superficial choice of which textiles one drapes themselves in to be a valid indicator of someone's character.

<Dude--while putting away his Elementโ„ข wallet in his Elementโ„ข jeans, wearing his Elementโ„ข hat, hoodie, and shoes, with Elementโ„ข deck, wheels, bearings and trucks in one hand, and a freshly purchased Viva La Bam complete series in the other>: "Whoa! Look at that Abercrombie and Fitch lackey conformist tool who obviously relies on sums of money and a darkly lit store to lead his sense of identity!!!"

Abercrombie and Fitch

1.Some weird fad that lasts maybe from 5th Graders all the way to College. Whenever some dumb kid who can't fit in with all the other "rich" kids who LOVE spending money, he/she goes to buy Abercrombie. When the kid/teenager/young adult goes in to pay the money, he gets a bag with some homo half naked guy on the front. When the person goes home and opens the thing, the shirts are super thin and see-thru. Plus, you have to pay for the jeans to be "ripped."

2. A person who wears Abercrombie and only talks to people who wear Abercrombie. Normally dare each other to stupid and self-destructive things. Hated by nerds and/or other smarter people.

Abercrombie 1: Let's go spend our $120 on shitty clothing!

Abercrombie 2: Does this shirt make me look like a whore?

Store Clerk: If you give me $20 extra, then yes:)

Abercrombie 2: YIPEE!

Normal Bystander: "**coughcoughfuturehobosifnotwhorescoughcough**"

Abercrombie 1: Hater! He can't afford Abercrombie and Fitch!

ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH

A popular clothing store usually more trendy than is fashionable(but then again, fashion is subjective). Villified by some, and loved equally by others. Lovers are usually characterized by various stereotypes including "preps", "jocks", "cheerleaders" and being "popular" and claims that the brand is "stylish". They say that haters are jealous because they can afford $75 jeans while forgetting that fact that designer denim(which cost upwards of more than $100) is more fashionable and highly regarded than mall jeans. Haters on the other hand are characterized by various stereotypes of various countercultures including, but not limited to "goths", "emos", "skaters", "punks" and "being different". They often consider AnF as sheep clothing, claim that preps who wear them aren't really real preps in the traditional sense while completely forgetting that words change and goth used to mean the barbarians of Western Europe, etc, etc.

Both sides should stop taking this thing so seriously, all of them(that should include me and I should not have added this entry because that makes me no different from any of you), are all sheeps of thier respective "cultures". Both are walking stereotypes and are no different from each other.

Incorporate AnF into your wartdrobe. It wouldnt hurt, maybe just your ego. But at the same time, don't just wear AnF exclusively. You look cheap, go buy some real designer stuff, not some mass produced crap all the time.

I wear raw denim and people don't know what it is so I feel better about myself because I am oh so cool. But only I know it. ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH and Hot Topic have some interesting clothes but not all and I love browsing there and taunt the sheeps in my head to make me feel better about myself.

ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH

Overpriced clothing, no different from any other cotton shirt or denim jeans. A company that is trying to sell a pathetic image while brainwashing teens into slapping down $60 bucks for a shirt. Is there some kind of "special material" or "quality" that these shirts have? No, foolhearted children, its just the big fat aberslobby logo that was crudely stamped on by the same malaysian sweatshop worker who made my shirts that I found for 7 bucks. If you think that you feel more comforable in some rags that scream "look at me, I'm rich and pay 60 bucks for a shirt" then you are quite a materialistic person. The store's always blast a thumpin' beat that disgraces any kind of music. They wouldn't want to play anything that would "turn away" any A&F mind jobs and their daddy's fat wallets. Notice all the people that shop there all fit the same type of mold. Rich, materialsitic, dumb, blonde girls, and rich, prep/fag, "popular" guys. I guess all of the money that A&F has been sapping from teens has been put into very good marketing, To bad it wasn't accutually going into making a better product, in to which it should be.

Clueless Blonde:"Hey girls lets go to abercrombie and fitch, my dad just gave me 450 dollars, I can get the 2 new shirts I wanted!"
Materialistic Friends:"Yay!"
A&F Employee/Male Model:"Hey ladies theres a sale on jean marked down to only 129.99!"

Fag1:"I need to go to A&F and spend lots of money"
Fag2:"What did you say?"
Fag1:"I need to go to A&F"
Fag2:"No you didn't, what was that last part?"
Fag1:"Like whateva, girlfriend, you be trippin'"

abercrombie and fitch

An American clothing chain which caters to young adults, mainly the college aged crowd. They sell vintage styled clothing, including ripped jeans and faded shirts. Considered to be of "All-American" East-Coast style. They also own Hollister Co. and Ruehl No 925.

However, there are some points that need to be made:
Firstly, A&F is not truly preppy. Try Lacoste, Polo etc, not to mention the bright colored clothing preps may wear (i.e pink, lime shirts etc)
Secondly, A&F is not overpriced (in terms of all clothing). European fashions will cost you at least 2x as much for a similar item at A&F. A&F isnt really designer clothing, persay. Want expensive jeans? Try dishing out $200 for diesel or even $400 for Dolce and Gabbana.

Bottom line: If you dont like A&F, then dont wear it.
