If someone FUBAR a task or object, it could be said they bastardized it. To fuck something up to a great extent when no one is looking only to end up leaving it alone and then walk away and act like you had nothing to do with it, nor ever want anything to do with it again.
"Who bastardized your hair?"

1.n An insult, roughly equivalent to bitch, meaning "illegitamite child". Kind of an indirect assault on one's mother.
2.adv Roughly equivalent to "insanely", "incredibly" or "amazingly". Used to modify ideas. Kind of like an interjection like "Fuck!", only used with another word.
1. Go to hell, you fucking bastard.
2a. That test was bastard hard.
2b. Wow! That car was bastard fast!
