(as used in jamaica)

1. a shortening of the term burn by removal of the 'r'
2. a term that expresses deep disapproval of someone or something as if wishing it did not exist. In this sense, it is not to be taken to mean literal burning.

1. Him bun-up himself wid acid.
2. Fiah bun bad mind and hypocrite.

Bun

A n00b or newbie, with negative implications. The word came from "nub" (newb), which was flipped backwards by one known as Zerg0nator in a game of StarCraft.
