Pron. "mung". Adjective.

Etymology: From Kaapse Dialek/Kaapse Afrikaans originating from in the Cape Flats area of Cape Town, South Africa.

Meaning: To be convicted of a crime and subsequently go to prison. This word can also be used to describe general missteps where a sincere attempt is undermined by a spectacular failure, such as falling over or injuring oneself.
