"polly" and "smells like teen spirit"
were some of there great lyrics. This is a truely great band, because after the 90s, they came out with bands like dashboard confessionals, simple plan, and blink 182, who are horrible at playing, and vocaling. Sorry, but screaming "vindicated" at a gay tone isnt a song.
I wouldnt say nirvana was the best rock band in the world, but they were the ones who made me get into bands like "van halen",ledzeppelin,metallica and the great 70s to 80s rock. Lynyrd skynyrd also. There Song "smells like teen spirit" is famed for its solo, that got them into "100 best solos of all time". its 30 something.

2)A rock band of the early 90's.
3)Many people say how they aren't the best band ever but claim they are more talented than bands such as: Alice in Chains, Sound Garden, Pearl Jam, , Faith No More, Guns N' Roses, Queensryche, etc. which were all by far more talented than Nirvana.
4)I am an Alice in Chains/Pearl Jam fan, that doesn't mean I have to hate Nirvana just because they were more famous. I actually used to be a very big fan until I heard AiC/PJ.
5) Possibly the most overrated band of all time, along with Pearl Jam, which overshadowed more talented acts like Alice in Chains.

A Seriously Crap Band That Did Not Influence Anything And Just Sang About Anything. None Of Them Can Play Their Instruments And My Cat Can Write Better Songs Than That And Then My Dog Would Lay Down The Instruments 300 Times Better.

A sucky band from the 90's that attracts fat, smelly, zit-faced, no talented, loser teens that will some day work at McDonalds.
