A Bouncer is a military term for grenades, particularly fragmentation grenades.
However, its also used for various other thrown explosives.
"Bouncer! Bouncer! Displace!"
A person used by a writer to bounce ideas off of. Also can keep track of the stories lore and is great for continuity errors. A human writing tool.
I called up my bouncer to see if he liked a new scene idea I came up with for my novel, will it fit as an action that my character might do?

This usage/meaning is inspired from the 'Bouncer' ball thrown in the game of Cricket which is thrown very forcefully onto the ground so that it bounces back to a great height - at or above Batsman's head, making it very difficult(many times near impossible) to play.
I like and can understand VSauce's videos on youtube, but I just couldn't understand his sense of humor - the jokes he likes on Twitter. They are a total bouncer for me!
