By the people, but not necessarily for the people. Attempts to define and explain everything, ideally without writing a book on every topic.
Has the same issues as any other democracy or a place, with group majorities - tribalism and its cultural influence: A place were simps, feminists, bitches, are making their tribal biases/opinions 'scientific', while linking what is pretty much their own blog's shitposts for sources; and nerds are trying to make their hobby/area of expertise articles as unreadable as possible for a commoner.
Has a tendency of throwing you into a rabbit whole of information, when you've already forgotten your initial question and have ended up reading articles on ancient Chinese schools of thought for no reason.
I disagree with that wikipedia article, so I've edited the definition to be a more 'objective representation of reality'. Also I'm undoing all the edits that disagree with me, my majority will prevail!
I'm wikipedia-eductated.
An extremely biased and informational source where everyone is the author. People get loads of information from outside sources and cite them. Are those outside sources reliable? Some are, some are not. They do not have to be
I just read an article about Pearl Harbor on Wikipedia! It was packed with so much information??? HOW DO THEY GET THIS???

Wikipedia is the free encyclopedia that anyone (from Black Mesa) can edit. It is not a product of the masses, like some are led to believe, but is actually run by Black Mesa, and is how they earn 73% of their research funding.
