In the mountains within the San Bernardino National Forest in Southern California. Near many residential communities, which include Cedar Glen, Blue Jay, Rimforest, Skyforest, and Agua Fria. Lake Arrowhead is a man made lake. It has a surface area of approximately 780 acres. A weekend getaway 2 hours from Los Angeles.
Seen in the films such as "Space Jam" "The Hand" "The Parent Trap" "It's a Mad Mad Mad World" "Giant" and "Magnificent Obsession".
Dude A: It is supposed to be sunny and warm this weekend. Where should we go?
Chic B: We could water ski at Lake Arrowhead and look for rattlesnakes.

located in the seqouia/kings canyon national forest(s) of eastern central california is a town called hume, only existent because of hume lake christian camps, the largest Christian camp in the nation, also a non-profit organization. during the months of summer there are up to 2-3000 campers alone each week, not to mention the summer staff and year-round full-time staff.
very, very beautiful place. very isolated also; the nearest city is fresno and it's 70 miles away. there is limited internet connectivity, no cell phone service, and plenty of outdoor activities. perfect place for a solitary or wholesome vacation. it also seems that since it is a private, small comunity is is somehow above the law... no seatbelts, no licenses, sometimes outrageous work hours/pay.

formally known as queer lakes, deer lakes is filled with two faced sluts who can’t keep their hands to themselves. unlike every other school, the football team is awful. i’m talking dreadfully awful. i heard students wanted to save their money from the football tickets to buy air pods. if you’re lucky, if you go to deer lakes you won’t run into the hicks (tbh they are pretty scary). but you know you met the heart of deer lakes if you talk to the want to be models and the cocky football players who think that they are all that.
