And then Jesus came back!

A phrase added by someone who is incredulous to what is being said, either an exaggerated report or a vision. Very much akin to "and then you woke up," as in "you woke up from the dream you were having and realized, 'oh, yeah, that was just a dream.'"

Coordinator: Yah, and I'm going to make sure there are 150 people at the cookies and ice cream party, that way we'll make $500 easy.
Coordinator's helper: Yeah, and then Jesus came back!

Seminarian: Sure I helped Jim Wallis write that book "God and Politics."
Professor: Yeah, and then Jesus came back!

christmas came early

The expression "christmas came early" originated in northern New Mexico. In this case, "christmas" refers to the unique combination of both red chile and green chile on your breakfast burrito. The fiery blend has a unique chemical reaction that results in premature bowel movements that are tainted with the fire of the chile. Thus, when one has a BM after consuming a christmas breakfast burrito, christmas is said to have come early.

Ralph: Oh, man! It's only 10:00 am and that loaf I dropped felt like fire!

Ted: Sounds like christmas came early.

Came out of the toolbox

A term used to describe someone who joined, switched into, or revealed that they were/are an Engineer after claiming otherwise for a long time. This is actually very common for students who originally wanted to do Engineering, but left it for something else because they thought it would end up boring, or because of annoying parents. In some rare cases, an art student will come out of the toolbox, and if they are successful they will be hated by everyone for being both left and right-brained.

Some warning signs could be: Tinkering when no one is around, playing with Legos too much, and casually building the Iron Man armor in the garage.

"Hey, did you hear Tony came out of the toolbox?"
"Pshh, doesn't surprise me. Animation was just a cover-up, I knew ever since I saw him 3D printing in the library"
