Annoying, entertaining, or just out right stupid sounds, music, and such. Usually done in Ventrilo servers with soundboards, and also Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike, Battlefield, etc. Source Engine games are popular for it.

Popular micspam is using Wavs Files. And playing them through the game with programs such as HLSS or HLDJ.

Either found entertaining, or annoying, or both but different people have different opinions.

"mic up" is a slang used by kids on roblox trying to seem "cool" or "tough". These types of players often have online girlfriends and dress up as "emo".

Roblox kid: Mic up scared kid.
Normal person: You're underage.

The act of putting your phone up to your microphone in any game where voice chat is allowed and playing the most ungodly audio that you can find; IE, Ventrilo servers, Team Fortress 2, and many popular source games. Also happens in Crab Game lobbies, but it's absolutely fucking disastrous. Can also be done with .wav files and played through a program. Usually results in laughter, angry people, or you being votekicked.
