i AM a prep.
and i hang around preppy people. BUT i also have emo goth skater and all other kinds of friends i chill with.
for me a prep can be :
high tempo; bubbly; OR depressed; naturally cool.
wear pink all he time like OMG!; wear all colors. even dun dun dun...BLACK!
play sports like soccer lacrosse or field hockey; dont play sports at all.
there are ALL types of preps. preps at YOUR school may be different from preps at another school. so yo can't hate them all.

A clan of people who think and care abut their image. WE wear, Abercrombie, J. Crew, Burberry, Dolce Gabbana, Lacsote, Hollister, Polo Ralph Lauren, and so on. We have fun shopping and spend all of our parents money. We enjoy activities such as shopping and well shopping...

preps are high class teenagers usually in junior high to high school. Parents are usually wealthy and buy most clothing for their sons/daughters. Clothing worn is usually J.lindeberg, Lacoste, Abercrombie & fitch, Gucci & DnG. Preps only wear lacoste or puma shoes. Preps are usually popular and have higher class status to everyone else except scene teenagers. Preps always have techno, mainstream, trance or rap on their ipod's. They always have a cellphone (new) and never have to pay for it. Preps arent all brainwashed, most of them are very intellegent and just want to look mainstreamed. Preps get a bad rap, but its usually from lower class people trying to make themselves feel better for their short-comings.
