Chicago Steering Wheel

A steering wheel that has been used in an aggressive manner to honk at other drivers so often that it has begun to cave in or crack, mostly found in vehicles driven in large cities with dense traffic like Chicago, IL.

Kevin's car has a Chicago Steering Wheel, he should really learn how to drive less aggressively.

Steering Wheel Holder

Steering Wheel Holder is a term that appeared in the Trucking Industry shortly after the automatic trucks started making a name for themselves. Traditionally, all semi-trucks have been manual, which means the driver would keep one hand on the wheel and one hand on the shifter. Opposite of manual, automatics allow the driver to keep both hands on the wheel all the time, hence the term: Steering Wheel Holder.

In most cases, the term is used as an insult toward drivers of automatic trucks who may be making a mistake or rash decision and are seen as lesser than their manual driving brethren.

“There goes one of them damn steering wheel holders, sitting in the left lane holding everyone up!”
